The Pace Project

Updated: Dec 29, 2021

Hi Everyone,

I, Michael Lettman, would like to share how I enjoyed doing an excellent project that I was doing at Pace University which started to help out a little with My Project's Website (via Wix).

Through my AHRC program, I attended a website program at Pace University where everyone was assigned to do a website project along with being assigned to college students from Pace (that were also attending) as their partners. The name of the Pace student that I was assigned to is Jian Zheng (nicknamed Chris). Instead of creating a website from Wix (which was part of the project), a certain website that I already had from Wix was chosen for our website project which Chris & I had started to work on for a while along with some help from Jonathon Epstein who was the one that invited me to join in the website project at Pace University.

Thanks to our work, My Project's Website has some new sections about different kinds of work from others who might be involved in helping the Autistic Community along with adding my own personal thoughts about them. As a result of our hard work, My Project's Website is sharing the work of other people involved with the autistic community so that many others can visit their work too. Maybe there are others out there who may not have hard of their work. So with the added sections of My Project's Website, their work might spread out more (even if it's just a little from me) plus my adding my own personal thoughts about them might help promote those pages within the created sections which were Experts, Publications, Research, Technology, & Organizations.

By the end of the website project, it was time for the website presentation at Pace University. I truly enjoyed seeing the results of the other websites that everyone & their Pace partners worked so hard on. Chris & I were the last ones to present our work on My Project's Website but we did our very best with our presentation & hopefully everyone who were still there had enjoyed it.

As of finishing the website program at Pace University, My Project's Website has kept all of the work that was done on it. I've been trying my best to update those sections ever since but it would be helpful if I had a partner (or more) who can help improve everything on My Project's Website.

My Thanks to Jian Zheng (Chris) - For working with me on our website project.

My Thanks to Jonathon Epstein - For inviting me to try out the website project at Pace University & for helping Chris & I with our work on My Project's Website.

From My Perspective

After joining in the website project at Pace University, I think others (maybe even autistic people) have created websites of their own kind & maybe have had some help with them as well. I hope everyone can enjoy websites that people with autism can create for good purposes. Maybe a few people can understand that helping to share other people's work is a way to help spread it around more. If anybody has any work that needs help to be spread around (like my own work) then try to find others who won't mind helping you out. The more help you find, the better for any work to be spread out to everyone. I'm really grateful to Pace University for all the work that I've been doing with one of their students as my partner which gave my website some new sections that I hope everyone will enjoy looking at for the hopes of becoming a Big Help for the Autism Community.

Fernando Cruz

Someone named Fernando Cruz was kind enough to share something with me, a link to his website that he created when he attended the website project at Pace University. He did had some help but I have to say that he has done good work with his website which is to have people learn about his interest in Art & Photography that he's very good at.
