THE GOOD DOCTOR’ AND AUTISM: DOES ABC GET IT RIGHT?
Michael’s Thoughts: I’m grateful to ABC for creating an excellent TV series known as The Good Doctor which gives the public a chance to see someone with autism in his usual life & how he tried to be good with his own personal skills for the community plus I’m happy to know that series has reached high marks in America’s television series through ABC. Although I might try to watch the series, I’m hoping there'll be other TV series out there that will help out the autistic community by showing others how someone with autism is living in their lives then they’ll be able to learn & understand more.
MEDICAL CANNABIS NOW USED TO TREAT AUTISM, SLEEP APNEA IN MINNESOTA
Michael's Thoughts: If this Medical Cannabis was an ABSOLUTE big help for a Mother & her son who had severe autism & suffers from a seizure disorder then the Minnesota Department of Health made an excellent good deed adding Autism Spectrum Disorders & Obstructive Sleep Apnea to the list of conditions that qualifies for it ended up as a useful treatment for lots in the community. It was also DEFINITELY a big help for another mother & her innocent son who was diagnosed with Tourette’s, they went through a lot of difficulties but this nice treatment sure fixed things up for them in their lives.
PRE-PREGNANCY OBESITY LINKED TO CHILDHOOD ADHD AND AUTISM
Michael’s Thoughts: I find it hard to believe since some Adorables had been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders some years after they’re born but already diagnosed before they’re born while the mothers try to see if it’s true, all that might be a little too much for families to understand.
AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER: DIFFERENCE OR DISABILITY?
Michael’s Thoughts: I guess some in the autistic community had some tough times finding good work when they need to but lots of Delaware companies have some respect for autistic people & might even see them as high-performing employees. I feel bad that there’s almost a high percentage of people with being underemployed or unemployed. Just because someone has a disability doesn’t mean they can’t do good work. So those in the autistic community deserve a chance to have work experience in their lives to earn good jobs.
NEWS SECTION OF AUTISM SPEAKS
Michael’s Thoughts: I'm not sure if this counts as publication but I like to give my respect to the excellent non-profit organization that has done so well for the autistic community for many years along with their researching on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. We both may have different meaning of autism but there are well-trained experts in that organization so maybe they have different ways that are good to help the autistic community.
NEW THERAPY FOR AUTISM ELIMINATES WAIT TIMES FOR LIFE-CHANGING CARE
Michael’s Thoughts: I have to say those kind of experts coming up with good behavioral therapy like ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) for the autistic american children is a good way to help them out with their autism especially if parents either get too worried, too frustrated, or went through much to find the right kind of help. ABA has done well helping a mother named Lauren Watai with her daughter named Lila Watai who had autism so I guess it was a nice option for that family & maybe even other families as well.
