I, Michael Lettman, would like to share what I experienced during the time when I was attending a drama class at NYU with AHRC community program & that experience gave me a story that I've made up myself which I hope you'll enjoy reading.
During my time in Drama Class Therapy, attendants have separated into groups & the group that I was with had decided on me to be our group's leader. I even got to name our group based on some drawings that we've done one day during our class. Since those drawings were pizza & lottery, I went with "Pizza Eating Millionaires" or "PEM" for short (a little imaginative I think), therefore we were known as the "PEM" group.
All of us in our drama class got started working on creating stories for presentations that our class was doing. I was given the role by my group of creating a story myself (along with picking common names of people from cards) for our group to work on. I started to make up a story all on my own from inside of my head about some of the common people that I've chosen from the cards. As I made up parts for the story & continued telling it to my group, they actually liked it (along with a pause from one part which they thought had suspense in it). One person from my group has written down my story part after part onto cards. After the story was written, another person from my group kindly typed up the story then printed it out for me.
All of us in our drama class were informed to do some practicing & rehearsing for acting out the stories that we all worked on for our presentation day. I was in the role of director & gave out the roles of the story's main characters to my group, afterwards we've done well with our rehearsing. For our presentation, my "PEM" group played the characters of my story while I was telling the story to everyone in our class. Our story presentation turned out good, although my story was unfinished at the time of our presentation day. So it was still “to be continued” but everyone was okay with it.
Since I got to keep the story that I created, I decided to share it with everyone else through my project on autism. I've titled my story as "PEM's Story" since I'm grateful to have been the leader of my wonderful "PEM" group. "PEM's Story" is currently in an unfinished state since I wasn't sure if anyone would like it but I wouldn't mind hearing any opinion about my own story to see if it was very good to continue on with or need to be fixed up a little to be enjoyed by everyone else.
"PEM's Story"

Characters: The Dreamer, The Friend, The Victim, The Robber, The Witness, & The Authority (aka the Authorities)
1. Robbery + Shooting
One day at the mall, a victim got shot in the left arm because he saw someone was robbing the mall. When the robber noticed him watching, he shot the victim. The victim is sad and in pain. A dreamer & a friend heard the gunshot. They started looking around & that's when they saw the victim. They were shocked & worried.
2. Witness alerting authorities
A witness saw ALL of this. She is on the balcony level of the mall & after being a witness to all of this, she had no choice but to alert the authorities.
3. Dreamer, Friend, & Victim go to Medical Center
As for the dreamer, friend, & victim; the dreamer wasn't sure what to do since the dreamer doesn't know the victim, but the friend does. But, the dreamer still had to know some concern so they decided to go to the nearest medical facility. The friend & the dreamer had to take the victim to the medical center because he was in pain.
4. Victim says thank you & tells story + Alarm going off + Robber hears alarm & goes hiding
Later on, the victim thanked the dreamer & the friend. That's when he told them all about the robbery. They were shocked & worried. They were trying to decide what to do when an alarm went off & the mall went into lock-down because the witness had made it to the station to alert the authorities. Then, the robber went into hiding in the mall.
5. Victim, dreamer, & friend going back to mall to look
When they heard the alarm, the dreamer, friend, & victim became shocked & terrified. The victim was wondering if this had something to do with the robber who shot him. The dreamer also was wondering "is this about the robber he told me about?" they were frightened, but instead of doing nothing, they decided to go back into the mall & look around.
6. See stores locked & authorities looking around + Victim spots robber
While looking around, they noticed the stores were locked & the authorities were searching. In another part of the mall, where the robber was hiding; the dreamer, friend, & victim are walking when the victim spots the robber!
7. Robber recognizes victim, jumps him & tells dreamer & friend to stand back
The robber recognizes the victim & attacks! The robber tells the dreamer & the friend to stand back or else! The dreamer & friend are PETRIFIED. It was at that moment that the robber had the victim in his grasp!
8. Witness sees & goes to authorities
The Witness sees everything again!! She ran for the authorities. The robber had no choice but to let go of the victim & run after the witness instead!
9. Friend, Dreamer, & Victim attack robber from behind + Victim grabs gun to get REVENGE
Then, the victim attacks the robber from behind. In a quest for revenge, the victim gets a hold of the robber's gun & points it at him.
10. Dreamer tries to convince victim not to shoot + Victim thinking about it, feels stressed & awful
At that moment, the dreamer noticed the victim. She understood why he would want revenge but knew it would still be wrong to shoot someone & didn't want the victim to get in trouble. She tried to talk to him & explain that once the robber is locked up, he won't have to worry about him anymore. The victim is thinking about it. He really wants revenge but knows it would be completely wrong. He's angry & SO STRESSED. He feels awful. The dreamer & friend have to convince him.
11. The authorities ARRIVE! + The authorities think the victim is the robber! + Victim drops gun but Too Late, the authorities attack + Authorities ask robber if he's OK & about to take victim to custody + The robber is pleased of what is happening
The authorities arrive! At that moment, the authorities THINK the victim is the robber! The victim was just about to do the right thing & get off of the robber & drop the gun but it was too late. The authorities had already seen him & attacked the victim. After attacking the victim, the authorities picked up the robber & asked if he was okay. The robber was pleased about this. The authorities were ready to take the victim into questioning. The victim was feeling ashamed that he ever wanted revenge. At this point, the dreamer & the friend step in to prove his innocence. The dreamer was thinking the victim should be ashamed for wanting revenge but still knew that it would be wrong if he went to jail. The friend was thinking the same thing.
12. Dreamer & Friend try to prove victim innocent though they're conflicted + The authorities are not really sure + Friend tries to convince that she knows the victim
The authorities asked the dreamer & the friend if they were okay. They said they were okay & then tried to tell the authorities the truth, but the authorities weren't really sure from what they saw. The friend tried to convince the officer that she knows the victim.
13. The witness arrived & told the truth to the authorities + The authorities say they need PROOF
While they were trying to convince the authorities, the witness arrived. The witness explained the truth. The authorities said that they needed proof. The witness was trying to figure out what proof they had.
14. Dreamer & Witness say: "His arm!" + Friend: "Authorities, check his left arm!" + The authorities see the wrapped up bandaged arm
At the same moment, the dreamer & the witness said, "His Arm!!!" After that, the friend quickly told the authorities, "Check his arm!!!" The authorities checked the victim & see his wrapped up, bandaged arm. It was at that moment that the authorities found out the truth.
15. Robber becomes enraged & takes witness for revenge
The robber became enraged. The robber succeeds in getting away. He even managed to take the witness as his captive for his revenge because she ruined everything for him.
16. The authorities officially got the truth, let go of victim & apologize, He also apologizes + Dreamer & Friend are proud of victim for recognizing his mistake, console him
After noticing what just happened, the authorities have officially gotten the truth. They let go of the victim & apologize. He apologized as well. He explained that he had attacked the robber because he wanted revenge for his arm. He felt ashamed of himself & sad. Even though he was really crestfallen, the dreamer & the friend are proud of him for realizing his awful mistake & consoled him.
17. Everyone went after the robber to save the witness + Dreamer thinks on inside: "This is the revenge for my new friend"
He started to feel better, but everyone realized that they need to focus on the situation that just happened, so everyone grouped together & went after the robber to save the witness! Plus, the dreamer has declared on the inside, that this shall be the official revenge for my NEW FRIEND!!

During my time in Drama class, everyone really became honest & said they accepted me as their friend (even some from my program as well) so maybe I did have friends after all. Unfortunately ever since I've finished attending that Drama Class, I haven't seen most of them in a while (except for some in my program) so that made me wonder if everyone said that they were my friends then how come I won't ever see them again?
