PS22: Michael's 6th Gym Battle!

6th Gym Mission has been cleared!

PS22's Documented "Plot"

Arriving at Circhester Stadium, Michael met up with Hop who recently had loss in his gym battle, which his friend/rival felt sorry to hear about. Hop, however commented on figuring out what he can do for his rematch as he wished Michael luck in his gym battle then departed.

Michael changed into his Gym Uniform & started his Gym Mission (after being notified of what to do with the Trap Detector). After going through falling into pitfalls (but managed to evade more) + battled 4th Gym Trainers, Michael cleared his Gym Mission & stepped onto the battlefield where Gym Leader Melony (her game counterpart) awaits + a whole crowd watching.

The Gym Battle started with Persian (unfortunately) losing to Melony's Frostmoth but Dracovish (fortunately) had done so well in defeating both it along with Melony's Galarian Darmanitan (with its newly-learned Draco Meteor). After Dracovish lost to Melony's Eiscue, a double KO had occurred with the latter & Litwick. The final showdown between Michael's Dynamax Urshifu & Melony's Gignatamax Lapras ended with the former emerging victorious, giving Michael the win.

The young Gym Challenger earned his 6th Gym Badge, the Ice Badge.

Michael gave his thanks to Melony for the fun that he felt during their gym battle & afterwards, he exited Circhester Stadium (after adding Partner Inteleon back on his team) where Sonia arrived to invite him to a restaurant for a meal to celebrate his win which he accepted.

At the restaurant (Bob's Your Uncle), Michael saw that Hop was invited too as the latter congratulated him on his win. Sonia & the 2 young Gym Challengers noticed something familiar to the treasured tapestries in Hammerlocke's vault, which looked like an end of the legend in Galar's history. It led to the 2 young Gym Challengers reminiscing about the mysterious Pokemon they've met in the Slumbering Weald (during PS01), which left Sonia fascinated to wanna hear more about it + everyone are feeling good by how much fun they've been having on their travels.

After a discussion (during a good meal), they went to check out the ancient Hero's Bath where they had another discussion, which (from what Sonia said) left Michael pondering about him & Hop possibly becoming new heroes although he apparently might accept wielding a shield while Hop would fancy a sword. After Sonia wondered about what kind of battle the 2 heroes may have had, the 2 young Gym Challengers decided to have their promised battle to see if they'd try pulling off a battle between 2 heroes.

Their battle ended in Michael's victory + it resulted his Litwick evolving into Lampent.

Despite Michael feeling a little sorry to Hop for delivering a 1 Hit KO to his final Pokemon at the very end, the latter didn't mind since he's still aiming to defeat his true rival no matter what. As Sonia acknowledged the strength of the 2 young Gym Challengers, Michael got a little impressed when she mentioned that even Champion Leon might be in trouble with how strong he & Hop had gotten. Confirming on what each of them are gonna do next, Sonia shall go to the Slumbering Weald for some investigating, Hop plans to prepare for his rematch at Circhester Stadium, & Michael shall do some training on Route 9 then head for Spikemuth next.

As Hop departed from the group, Michael agrees with Sonia about being glad for Hop recovering from how gloomy he was before (from what occurred with him by Bede).

As Sonia departed also, Michael gave his thanks to his Pokemon friends for all their hard work in earning the 6th Gym Badge (+ winning against Hop) & he's proud of his Secret Armor (Urshifu) for becoming so strong-looking. Despite feeling bad for his Persian (by what happened in both the 6th Gym Badge & the recent battle against Hop), Michael promises to make up for its losses by preparing for its participation in the 7th Gym Battle, which shall take place at a certain other rival's hometown that he's actually looking forward to visit.

To Be Continued

(Next: PS23)

Lesson Note: From battling Hop's game counterpart, 1-Hit KOs & causing opponents to be "backed into a corner" are NOT allowed in battles against those like him or even supporting protagonists.
