PS26: Michael's 8th & Final Gym Battle!
PS26's Documented "Plot"
The young Gym Challenger looked upon Hammerlocke Stadium as he then entered inside, changed into his Gym Uniform, & met up with Raihan (& his Gym Trainers) at Hammerlocke's vault to start the final Gym Mission.
After being notified on what to do, Michael managed to defeat the Hammerlocke Gym Trainers in double battles, cleared the the final Gym Mission, & stepped onto the battlefield where Gym Leader Raihan awaits + a whole crowd watching.
The Gym Battle (also being a 4-on-4 double battle) began with Raihan's Gigalith unleashing a Sandstorm from its Sand Stream ability. Dracovish & Grimmsnarl worked together to defeat Raihan's Flygon. After Dracovish lost to Raihan's Sandaconda, Slowpoke managed to expel the sandstorm with its newly-learned Rain Dance move before it also lost to Sandaconda. Grimmsnarl managed to survive & inflict enough damage to Gigalith for Inteleon to take it out with its Sucker Punch move but Grimmsnarl still fell to the same Sandaconda. With only 1 Pokemon remaining, it was time for Michael to unleash his true ace, Gigantamax Inteleon. After Raihan brought out his own true ace, Gigantamax Duraludon, Inteleon managed to take down Sandaconda with its signature Gigantamax move, G-Max Hydrosnipe, but due to its Sand Spit ability, a sandstorm kicked up again, expelling the rainy weather from Slowpoke's Rain Dance. A Gigantamax showdown between Inteleon & Duraludon ended with the former emerged victorious, giving Michael the win.
The young Gym Challenger earned his 8th & Final Gym Badge, The Dragon Badge!
Michael gave his thanks to Gym Leader Raihan for the importance of enjoying the final Gym Battle. As Raihan confirms that Michael has completed the Gym Challenge, the young Gym Challenger is feeling so proud for the efforts brought by his Pokemon friends.
As Hop arrived (after earning the Dark Badge) to take on Raihan, Michael wished him great luck on aiming to win his own final Gym Battle.
After exiting Hammerlocke Stadium, Michael met up with Sonia & Professor Magnolia, with the former congratulating the young Gym Challenger for completing the Gym Challenge. Joining in with their discussion regarding the Darkest Day, Michael can understand there's much more to learn about the 2 heroes, the legendary Sword & Shield, & even the Dynamax phenomenon. After Sonia apparently received her grandmother's lab coat, Michael was actually happy to call her, Professor Sonia, as she still aims to figure out the truth behind the legends from within Galar's history with Michael believing in her to do so.
Departing from the 2 Pokemon Professors, Michael proudly strolled past many fans who've enjoyed his final Gym Battle as he then arrived at Hammerlocke Station. After a while of patience, Michael accepts taking the train to White Hill Station (which shall soon depart) but it wasn't long until Hop apparently arrived with Raihan.
Upon hearing the news, Michael excitedly congratulated his friend/rival on earning the Dragon Badge (& thus both the 2 young Gym Challengers have completed the Gym Challenge). Raihan instructed both Michael & Hop on their upcoming Champion Cup tournament with only 1 being able to win the chance into facing Galar Champion Leon himself. Although Michael is filled up with anticipation, he kindly understands Hop's determination to defeat him as his true rival.
As Michael & Hop bid a good farewell to Raihan, they rode along their train while scrolling through their Rotom Phones. As the 2 young Gym Challengers are promising an excellent showdown with each other in the Champion Cup, they're also looking forward to a lot of sightseeing at their ultimate destination, Wyndon.
