PS30 (Darkness Beyond The Cosmos I): Battle to the Top of a Tower!
PS30's Documented "Plot"
After a quick rotation (via Pokemon Box Link), Michael met up with Hop & Piers along with Marnie who was called on by her brother.
Oleana apparently shown up with a serious demand that everyone is not to interfere with Chairman Rose who's in a meeting with Champion Leon at Rose Tower. Therefore, she gave away an access key (for riding the monorail to Rose Tower) to 1 of her Macro Cosmos staff who then went into hiding.
As Oleana departed, Michael wasn't happy from sensing a little madness coming from her. Everyone wondered what they should do then decided to find that bad staff member, Hop decided to search at Wyndon Stadium while Michael search at the plaza with Marnie, Piers, & Team Yell.
Not only Michael managed to find that bad staff member, he had to battle him 3 whole times but with the help of some appreciated cheers from Marnie (& her fans), Michael's Lampent dominated over every Pokemon that bad staff member used.
After Hop was called back to the group, they all chased that bad staff member to Wyndon Station where there were more bad staff members blocking the monorail entrance. Everyone watched as Piers stepped in & rocked on with his humble song, which led to spectators (wanting to watch up-close) dashing through those bad staff members for Marnie to acquire the key & allowing her, Hop, & Michael to ride the monorail to Rose Tower.
Arriving at Rose Tower, Hop & Marnie wondered what they should do when Michael suggested going on ahead, which was accepted since they came to find Champion Leon. Both Marnie & Michael wonder what Chairman Rose's plotting from keeping Champion Leon holed up inside the tower. After Piers rejoined the group, he asked that Michael & Hop go on ahead while he support them with a yell. Marnie decided to stay put with her brother but informs the boys to come back if they need anything. After Michael gave his thanks to Piers & Marnie for all their help, he & Hop proceeded into Rose Tower.
While both boys are very amazed with how massive Rose Tower is, Michael become more amazed to learn from Hop that the Rose Tower was build on a power spot, which means Pokemon can dynamax from at the top of the tower. Just then they've heard Oleana's voice from an alarm ordering to remove "intruders" from the premises (which Michael finds disturbing) & at the same time, a bad Macro Cosmos staff member stepped in following Oleana's orders. Fortunately it didn't take long for Michael's Lampent to take out his Durant, forcing him to allow the boys into a huge elevator.
As Michael & Hop were getting a lift to the top, they've been forced to battle more bad Macro Cosmos staff members who've kept stop their lift from the outside. Fortunately, the boys have overpowered every last one of their opponents using only their Dubwool (Hop's) & Lampent (Michael's) up until they've finally reached the top where they've noticed Oleana who expected nothing less from the Champion-endorsed Gym Challengers that have managed to get through the staff she had ordered to stop them, yet at the same time, she's displeased with madness out of not letting anyone disturb Chairman Rose. Oleana claims to start with Michael & out of every last word she spoke had started to drove the young Gym Challenger a little mad himself as they've begun to battle (with Hop stepping aside).
Michael got a little more mad when his Lampent (who had been unstoppable for recent battles) badly lost to Oleana's Froslass who had gotten too evasive (by its Double Team) for Lampent to attack but fortunately Michael started to recover thanks to his Toxtricity overpowering 4 of Oleana's Pokemon (Froslass, Milotic, Salazzle, Tsareena). After Toxtricity fell to Oleana's Gigantamax Garbodor, Michael tried to finish up with his Gigantamax Grimmsnarl but it also fell to Garbador as well. However Toxtricity & Grimmsnarl did inflict major damage to Garbodor, which allowed Persian to take care of casting the final KO blow. Having had lost to Michael, Oleana had no other choice but to allow the boys to do as they please.
Finally noticing Champion Leon speaking with Chairman Rose, Michael ended up getting more curious than ever about the latter from what had been overheard. The boys officially reunited with Champion Leon while Chairman Rose apologized for any inconvenience as the former informs the boys to not mind any of what they've been discussing. Despite noticing a highly curious look on Michael's face, Champion Leon informs Chairman Rose that he must depart for his dinner plans with the boys then prepare for the rest of the Champion Cup, which is going to be 1 for the history books (which Chairman Rose discreetly disagrees with).
Later that night at the hotel (after enjoying his dinner with Hop & Champion Leon), Michael couldn't stop his extreme curiosity from what he's been through recently from going through the hard way to find Champion Leon by battling Macro Cosmos staff members (+ the mad secretary herself). Although Michael understood how Macro Cosmos provides energy for all of Galar, he questions the concerning from Chairman Rose who intended to cancel the rest of the Champion Cup out of concerns for Galar's future but that fortunately won't happen thanks to Champion Leon who most likely knows what's better for Galar. Exhausted from all the battling (& even his curiosity), the young Gym Challenger shall rest up to prepare for what's next in the Champion Cup.
