Facing Eternamax Eternatus!

PS39's Documented "Plot"

With his team recovered, Michael was ready to join Hop as they took the lift to the tower summit where they found Champion Leon & his Charizard facing the Legendary Pokemon, Eternatus.

Although Michael is shockingly astounded by seeing the Legendary Darkest Day itself, he then turns his attention on the reason he arrived. Champion Leon seized a chance & threw a Poke Ball at Eternatus, sucking it in. However, Eternatus broke out as the Poke Ball bursts open.

With Eternatus about to attack again, Michael stepped in with an attempt to try bringing Eternatus down as he succeeds in doing so with his ace Pokemon, Inteleon.

At that moment, however, Eternatus transforms into a completely different form, which Michael & Hop are shockingly amazed by but then focused on battling it as Hop sent out his Dubwool.

Upon wondering why their Pokemon aren't able to use their moves (while Eternatus began charging up), the 2 friends/rivals raise the Rusted Shield & Rusted Sword, respectively, into the air. The Legendary Pokemon Zamazenta & Zacian reacted to the legendary artifacts & arrived to aid in the battle as they transformed into completely different forms themselves, which Michael & Hop are so

fascinated to see with their own eyes before turning their attention to defeat Eternatus.

With Michael's & Hop's Pokemon being able to use their moves again (thanks to Zacian & Zamazenta), they all worked together & weakened down Eternatus. Following what Hop said, Michael seized the chance as he hurls a Dynamax-sized Poke Ball & successfully catches Eternatus. The 2 friends/rivals cheer, Zacian & Zamazenta departs, & the dark clouds in the sky partly clear to signify the Darkest Day came to an end.

3 days had passed as Michael was at the Rose of the Rondelands hotel (in Wyndon) where he noticed a few people talking about the situation that had occurred before, which includes how Chairman Rose turned himself in for what he had done. Meeting up with Hop, the 2 friends/rivals also talked about what had happened back then while acknowledging how they succeeded in working with Zacian & Zamazenta to save all of Galar. With the Championship Match all set at Wyndon Stadium, Hop asked Michael if he was ready to take on Champion Leon despite what he had gone through during the chaos. Michael commented on aiming to give Champion Leon an enjoyable battle that they'll never forget, which Hop can also look forward too.

As Hop went on ahead, Michael took a detour to a Pokemon Center to begin final preparations for the final battle in the Champion Cup.
