UM23's Documentation ("Plot")
With another Totem Sticker collected, Michael sets off onto Route 10 to meet up with Professor Kukui’s game counterpart at the bus stop.
After Michael agreed to help an elder lady find her 8 missing Stufful, he came across a wild Fearow which came down from a tree so he defeated it with Raticate for a little training. Michael and his Toucannon defeated a Firefighter’s Octillery then Michael and his Eevee defeated a wild Crabrawler to collect a few berries. After a woman was kind enough to help recover Michael’s team, he managed to locate some of the missing Stufful and help them get back to their trainer. Michael and his Eevee defeated a Beauty’s Flaaffy, Michael located more of the missing Stufful, Michael and his Eevee defeated a Policeman’s Growlithe, and Michael went on to find the remaining of the missing Stufful as the elder lady kindly thanked Michael for his help by giving him a Muscle Band and a payment reward.
It went well for Michael and his Raticate, defeating a few more wild Pokemon, which came out of the trees (just like that wild Fearow from earlier) along the path as training for the next trial and it led to Raticate earning enough Exp. Points to level up. As Michael arrived at the bus stop, he came across Team Skull who were gonna take away the bus stop, which led to Michael taking their Pokemon down with Toucannon leading to Team Skull retreating. As Professor Kukui’s game counterpart arrived then Michael informed him of what happened, Michael got a little surprised about Professor Kukui’s game counterpart mentioning something about “The League”, which he then informed Michael that he’ll find out soon enough as the bus known as the Exeggutor Express arrived then Professor Kukui’s game counterpart and Michael hop aboard, which brought them to the top of Mount Hokulani where Michael can see the location of his next trial, the Hokulani Observatory. As Michael stands over with Professor Kukui’s game counterpart to view on top of the second tallest mountain in Alola, he can see another mountain which Professor Kukui’s game counterpart has explain is the highest peak in all of Alola, Mount Lanakila, which is a sacred spot related to Alola’s Legendary Pokemon said to be the moon incarnate, which led to Michael pondering a little about a certain story that he and Lillie’s game counterpart had learned about. Professor Kukui’s game counterpart then reveals exciting news to Michael which was that he’s establishing a Pokemon League on the peak of Mount Lanakila. Hearing what Professor Kukui’s game counterpart had just said, definitely surprised Michael as Professor Kukui’s game counterpart reveals that after the trainers in Alola have finished with their island challenges, he’ll prepare a Pokemon League for those trainers to compete in for a chance in becoming the island challenge champion.
Professor Kukui’s game counterpart also reveals that it has been a long-time goal that he’s been aiming to accomplish as it was time for Alola to brand its own Elite Four and make a Champion that the whole world will recognize. Professor Kukui’s game counterpart then mentions that an island challenge champion might even move on in becoming a world champion and he’d like for that champion to show the world much about the trainers and Pokemon of the Alola Region. Everything that Professor Kukui’s game counterpart had said filled up a whole lot of excitement and anticipation into Michael as his Rotom Dex asked him about trying it out which Michael answered that he’d love the challenge and his Pokedex companion believes that he’ll do great then it was time for another Roto Loto and 2 Roto Stealths were obtained. Michael gave a big thank you to Professor Kukui’s game counterpart for the exciting news as he can see that Michael shall look forward to it and his Pokedex companion reminds him that his island challenge must be finished first, which Michael already understood as he departs to start training on Mount Hokulani. Michael noticed Samson Oak’s game counterpart then they had a chat about a Pokemon called Minior and he gave Michael a new kind of PokeBall called a Moon Ball. After another Totem Sticker was collected, Michael came across a veteran who said that he’ll only face Michael in battle if he defeats all trainers on Mount Hokulani, which led to Michael having another similar chance to face a strong opponent when all other opponents in the area are defeated in battle. Michael and his Eevee defeated a teacher’s Clefairy, which led to Eevee earning enough Exp. Points to level up then afterwards Michael and his Raticate defeated a Hiker’s Alolan Geodude. After another Totem Sticker was collected, Michael came across a golfer out over a ledge who faced the young trial-goer with his 3 Miniors, which were all defeated by Michael’s Raticate, who earned enough Exp. Points to level up. After Michael took a photo of a Beldum with his Poke Finder, he and Eevee managed to defeat a collector’s Passimian and Oranguru then they went on to defeat a wild Fearow, which led to Eevee earning enough Exp. Points to level up. With all opponents on Mount Hokulani defeated, Michael with his Lycanroc and Raticate faced the veteran’s Alolan Persian and Absol. At the end, Raticate used a Z-Move for the first time (Normal-Type Z-Move: Breakneck Blitz), which led to a final blow against Absol leading to Michael emerging victorious and it also led to Raticate earning enough Exp. Points to level up along with learning a new move. Even though the veteran never got to use his own Z-Move during battle, he still thanked Michael for a good battle and gave him the Technical Machine for Snarl. Arriving at Mount Hokulani’s Pokemon Center and having his team recovered, Michael relaxed at the Pokemon Center Cafe while speaking to his Rotom Dex about the upcoming Pokemon League, which Michael then reveals that he’s been highly interested in Pokemon Leagues back when he lived in the Kanto Region but never got to try it out because he wasn’t a Pokemon Trainer at that time, although not only Michael commented that he’s been enjoying living in the Alola Region, he has also been enjoying taking on the island challenge as a Pokemon Trainer in the Alola Region.
Now knowing that there will be a Pokemon League for him to challenge in Alola, Michael is anticipating to see how strong he can get with his team by the end of their island challenge so they’ll be ready to take on the Pokemon League challenge as the young trial-goer must soon focus on the upcoming trial at the Hokulani Observatory.
