Note: Michael Lettman realized that he wasn’t being clear in showing the names of new moves that Alolan Michael’s Pokemon Friends have learned from leveling up so he took care of that mistake a little, starting from UM27!
UM27's Documentation ("Plot")
Michael had a chat with his Rotom Dex about taking a pause from his island challenge to do some training with his Pokemon Friends and they were some past experiences that Michael has been meaning to try out again although Michael’s Rotom Dex understood, it reminded its friend they must meet back with Acerola’s game counterpart at Aether House which Michael didn’t forget. Michael’s Rotom Dex then asked its companion what does he think about having a Rotom Dex on his journey which Michael answered he knows he can count on it, which made his Pokedex companion happy to promise that it’ll continue to do its best for its friend as the Roto Loto occurred and 2 Roto HP Restores were obtained. Starting off with training, Michael turned off his Exp. Share for a short time to train his Eevee by having it battle against some wild Pokemon in the grass outside of the Pokemon Center, resulting in Eevee gaining enough Exp. Points to go up 2 levels. With the Exp. Share turned back on, Michael sets off to train his team at Haina Desert. A trial guide that was at the barricade entrance to Haina Desert, had seen Michael’s Ghostium Z in his Z-Power Ring, which showed her that the young trial-goer had cleared Acerola’s game counterpart’s trial.
As the barricade entrance to Haina Desert was opened, the trial guide was kind enough to give Michael some Fresh Water to take with him then she explained about the ruins that lies within Haina Desert known as the Ruins of Abundance which is connected to Tapu Bulu, Ula’ula Island’s guardian, leading to Michael learning about another island guardian (and it also led to Michael realizing something from Lillie’s game counterpart). As Michael called on the Mudsdale Gallop via Ride Pager, he rode along into Haina Desert where he began training by having Cha (Michael’s Hawlucha) defeat some wild Pokemon that were mostly Ground-types. Michael came across a hiker who was in need of water to drink so the young trial-goer gave him some Fresh Water. As the hiker began to thank Michael, he explained that he had gotten so thirsty that he couldn’t even walk while he was hiking around the desert. A Stufful then appeared to Michael and the hiker which was revealed to be the same Stufful from the motel on Route 13. The hiker reveals that it was his Stufful who came in search for its trainer as Michael then explained what occurred with his Stufful. It turns out when Michael visited Stufful, he accidentally left the motel room open but it allowed Stufful to follow Michael into Haina Desert in search for its trainer as it was glad to be back with him and the hiker apologizes for what happened to him. After the hiker and his Stufful departed back to the motel, Michael continued his traveling across Haina Desert as his team’s training resumed. As his team’s training was going so well, Michael came across a pedestal which lies a Z-Crystal from within. After looking around the pedestal for anything that might show up, Michael reached for the Z-Crystal and obtained it which his Rotom Dex managed to find out that it was a Psychic-Type Z-Crystal, Psychium Z. Even though Michael knows that he doesn’t have any Pokemon that can use Psychic-type moves, he’s happy for obtaining another Z-Crystal which became similar to how he obtained his Flyinium Z at Ten Carat Hill (except someone was there to show him a Z-Move pose). After finding a Comet Shard then a Big Nugget to sell later at a PokeMart, Michael came across the Ruins of Abundance which Michael figured was the same ruins on Ula’ula Island that Lillie’s game counterpart was searching for. After seeing that Cha was getting tired from helping with their team’s training, Michael allowed Cha to rest while letting Incineroar take over on the way out of the desert. As a result of all their training thanks to Cha then Incineroar (with the Exp. Share still active), Michael’s team gained lots of Exp. Points to level up so much that every one of Michael’s Pokemon Friends have learned a new move each (except for Raticate) = Incineroar learned Flamethrower, Toucannon learned Bullet Seed, Lycanroc learned Crunch, Eevee learned Trump Card, and Cha learned High Jump Kick then Sky Attack. Michael departed from Haina Desert as he became so happy with how strong his team has gotten from their training. Arriving at the same motel on Route 13, he’s glad to see that Stufful is doing okay with its trainer who thanked Michael for his help by giving him 10 Fresh Waters. Michael arrived at Ula’ula Beach then collected some berries after defeating a wild Crabrawler with his Eevee. Michael went up to a Mantine to ask if they can surf to Akala Island which Mantine would be happy to. As Michael rode Mantine and bumped into obstacles of Water-Type Pokemon, he surfed all the way to Akala Island and reached a new high score in his Mantine Surfing. Arriving at Akala Island, Michael proceeds to Royal Avenue where he’s been intending to try out the Battle Royal again and after recovering his team at Royal Avenue’s Pokemon Center, Michael came across the same young boy in need of courage who asked the young trial-goer about anything that happened during his journey. Michael then decided to tell him about his trip to Aether Paradise (back in UM21) including his battle with the Ultra Beast, which gave the young boy some more encouragement. Arriving at the Battle Royal Dome, Michael received info about the rules and rankings of the Battle Royal after asking about it. The young trial-goer then finished his registration in the Normal Rank and his 3 chosen Pokemon were Cha, Toucannon, and Incineroar as he then stepped into the ring to begin his participation. At the end, Michael emerged victorious as he then confirmed to his Rotom Dex to have the entire battle saved in a Battle Video.
As the receptionist congratulates Michael on his victory, she gives the young trial-goer the Battle Points that he earns and confirms to Michael that he can be registered in the Super Rank the next time he participates, which he shall look forward to. After purchasing a malasada for his Toucannon to enjoy at Royal Avenue’s Malasada Shop, Michael was all set to return back to Tapu Village as he went Mantine Surfing again and arrived back to Ula’ula Island. Arriving back to Tapu Village’s Pokemon Center, Michael sold his 2 Haina Desert valuables then purchased some Hyper Potions at the PokeMart. Michael thanked Cha, Toucannon, and Incineroar for all their hard work during their Battle Royal, he then commented on how happy he still was from the results of his team’s training at Haina Desert as the young trial-goer is looking forward to getting back on his island challenge.
