Michael’s “Poke Problem”: Who was the final opponent Michael must face at Aether Paradise? Choices: Soliera, Lusamine’s game counterpart, Faba’s game counterpart, Guzma’s game counterpart (Answer Revealed Below) (Exp. Share: On)

UM31's Documentation ("Plot")

After a quick chat with his Rotom Dex (+ earning 2 Roto Encounters via Roto-Loto), Michael arrived back on the 1st floor where the game counterparts of Hau and Gladion were waiting for him.

After Hau’s game counterpart wondered what can they do, Gladion’s game counterpart replied to the 2 trial-goers about having no other choice but to defeat whoever stands in their way, which Michael can agree with after everything that’s been happening lately as he liked to receive some answers while getting so close to save a friend and her Pokemon Friend. Aether Foundation employees appeared to the 3 trainers claiming they’ve received orders from Faba’s game counterpart regarding those 3. Those Aether Foundation employees claim that the 3 trainers must conveniently disappear after learning of the darkness at the heart of Aether Paradise, which caught Michael’s attention.

As Gladion’s game counterpart shall take on a few of the employees himself, Hau’s game counterpart turned to Michael for asking to battle with him against a few other employees, which he agreed to.

2 employees’ Anorith and Lileep were defeated by Hau’s game counterpart’s Alolan Raichu and Michael’s Eevee (who gained enough Exp. Points to level up).

As those Aether Foundation employees retreated, the 2 trial-goers thanked each other for their battling as Hau’s game counterpart admits that if a trainer’s partner becomes better, it can be possible to enjoy a battle you cannot afford to lose, which Michael can agree with. Gladion’s game counterpart spoke to the 2 trial-goers about knowing they aren’t friends with him but he’s glad they’re with him as he remembered with Hau’s game counterpart said when they were at the Battle Royal Rome (during UM14) and can see that Hau’s game counterpart was right about people can achieve more if they do something together, which the 2 trial-goers are glad that Gladion’s game counterpart has understood that. The game counterpart of Wicke has appeared to the 3 trainers who sees Gladion’s game counterpart as “young master”, which was a little confusing for the 2 trial-goers. When Wicke’s game counterpart offers to heal the 2 trial-goers’ Pokemon, Michael replies not being sure about that after what the 3 trainers had been going through by Aether Foundation employees but Gladion’s game counterpart replies that Wicke’s game counterpart can be trusted so the 2 trial-goers allowed her to recover their Pokemon, which she has kindly done so. As Michael apologizes to Wicke’s game counterpart for his doubt then was forgiven, Gladion’s game counterpart asks her about Lillie’s game counterpart which Wicke’s game counterpart replies that she may be with the Aether Foundation president’s game counterpart. Michael began to wonder how Lillie’s game counterpart ended up with Lusamine’s game counterpart after what had happened to her and Nebby. Hau’s game counterpart believes that’s Lusamine’s game counterpart is really nice and she’ll listen to them if they explained everything that occurred to her which made Gladion’s game counterpart reply that Lusamine’s game counterpart is nice, as long as you mean nothing to her which left Michael a little bewildered. Even though Wicke’s game counterpart explained that the doors are locked, Gladion’s game counterpart won’t let that stop him as he and Hau’s game counterpart headed straight to a nearby doorway. Michael’s Rotom Dex commented that it never thought it would admit but it’s glad that Gladion’s game counterpart is with them despite him being a little scary which made Michael reply that he was glad Gladion’s game counterpart is with them from the beginning since it was because of him that the 2 trial-goers are getting close to saving Lillie’s game counterpart and Nebby. The 3 trainers arrived at the doorway where Aether Foundation employees and the game counterpart of Faba were standing. Faba’s game counterpart knew the 3 trainers would reach for the Aether Foundation president’s game counterpart so he figured he would defeat them just in front of the mansion where the Aether Foundation president’s game counterpart remains. Faba’s game counterpart also reveals that he let the 3 trainers in the lower level to buy time to gather more staff to stop them which caught Michael’s attention as he can see that Faba’s game counterpart was trying to outsmart them like Gladion’s game counterpart said.

Somehow Hau’s game counterpart was kindly thanking Faba’s game counterpart which Michael bewildered until Hau’s game counterpart reveals that Faba’s game counterpart had confirmed the location of the Aether Foundation president’s game counterpart which was in a mansion just up ahead from where they’re currently at. So now the 3 trainers know where to find Lillie’s game counterpart and Cosmog, which Michael now understands, then began to give his thanks as well.

Faba’s game counterpart who’s left completely shocked about what he had done, began to order 2 Aether Foundation employees to defeat them, Gladion’s game counterpart stepped in and asked Michael to give him a hand, which the young trial-goer understood. Michael’s Raticate along with Gladion’s game counterpart’s Type: Null and Golbat managed to defeat the 2 employees’ Electabuzz, Magmar, Manectric, and Houndoom, resulting in Raticate and Cha (Michael’s Hawlucha) gaining enough Exp. Points to level up.

As the 2 defeated employees retreated, Gladion’s game counterpart shall leave Faba’s game counterpart to the 2 trial-goers which they understood. Hau’s game counterpart reveals to Michael that his Dartrix evolved into Decidueye which the young trial-goer gave congrats to his friend’s fully-evolved partner then they both agree that they can save Lillie’s game counterpart and Nebby for sure as Faba’s game counterpart and a remaining Aether Foundation employee stepped in to defeat them. Michael’s Raticate and Eevee along with Hau’s game counterpart’s Alolan Raichu, Noivern, and Vapereon managed to defeat Faba’s game counterpart’s Claydol, Hypno, and Bruxish including the remaining employee’s Ledian and Pupitar, resulting in Eevee, Incineroar, Toucannon, Cha, and Lycanroc gaining enough Exp. Points to level up + Eevee had done well in using the Dark-Type Z-Move: Black Hole Eclipse for the first time. As the remaining Aether Foundation employee retreated, Faba’s game counterpart was left with no choice but to give in the key to open the doorway which allowed the 3 trainers to proceed onward. As they reached outside to the mansion, both Hau’s game counterpart and Michael were shocked to see that Team Skull were around on the outside as Gladion’s game counterpart advanced towards the game counterpart of Guzma who Michael was shocked to see that he came to Aether Paradise after his defeat back in Po Town.

Both Hau’s game counterpart and Michael were bewildered about the possibility that the Aether Foundation really was working together with Team Skull which was too mind-blowing for both the 2 trial-goers to think about as they’ve agreed to proceed in taking on Team Skull. Michael’s Rotom Dex ended up hoping that Lusamine’s game counterpart doesn’t act weird like the rest of Aether Paradise, which the young trial-goer doubts after everything that’s been occurring which includes Team Skull. After a Team Skull grunt’s Golbat was defeated by Michael’s Toucannon and a Team Skull grunt’s Alolan Raticate was defeated by Michael’s own Alolan Raticate, Michael noticed Gladion’s game counterpart was defeated by Guzma’s game counterpart then stepped in to take care of it. Michael spoke to Guzma’s game counterpart about not expecting to see him at Aether Paradise after his defeat back in Po Town which left a smirk on Guzma’s game counterpart’s face as he spoke about crushing Gladion’s game counterpart then how he kinda liked him for running away from his home to wanting to get stronger all alone and lonely even going so far as to coming into Team Skull and rejecting his own mother, which left Michael a little curious but he still somehow feels bad for Gladion’s game counterpart.

As Guzma’s game counterpart prepares for another attempt to take down Michael, the young trial-goer was all set for another attempt in making sure to show the game counterpart of Team Skull’s boss that enemies like him must be defeated. During the battle, Michael’s Incineroar pulled off a finishing blow using its exclusive Z-Move: Malicious Moonsault on Guzma’s game counterpart’s Golisopod (which resulted in Raticate earning enough Exp. Points to level up. Michael’s Lycanroc defeating Guzma’s game counterpart’s Pinsir allowed it to learn Stone Edge after gaining enough Exp. Points to level up. Even though Michael’s Eevee lost to Guzma’s game counterpart’s Vikavolt, Incineroar was able to avenge it by defeating Vikavolt which resulted in Incineroar (and Toucannon) gaining enough Exp. Points to level up. Despite Guzma’s game counterpart’s Masquerain defeating Incineroar and Lycanroc, Toucannon took care of defeating it, which resulted in Cha gaining enough Exp. Points to level up.

Guzma’s game counterpart who was left defeated had no choice but to allow Michael to go on through into the mansion as Gladion’s game counterpart asked him to Lillie’s game counterpart and Nebby, which the young trial-goer understood as he’ll be aware that Gladion’s and Hau’s game counterparts shall be right there too. As Michael enters the mansion, the Ultra Recon Squad were there too and they spoke to Michael about how Pokemon can be made to obey the orders of the ones who catch them which can be a way that Necrozma can be controlled. Michael admits that they’ve made a clever point + agreeing with the Ultra Recon Squad about Pokemon being loyal to the trainers that hold them since trainers giving much care for their Pokemon Friends can result in strong connections. The Ultra Recon Squad asked for Michael to leave so they may continue with their work but informs them that he must see Lusamine’s game counterpart so he can help Lillie’s game counterpart and Cosmog. Soliera finds it amusing how others like Michael seem to worry for Cosmog’s safety along with being able to use Z-Moves which are connected to the power of the Blinding One (that left Michael a little curious) but Phyco replied about being uncertain about depending on children and believed that those like Michael should be stopped rather than sending them against something like the Blinding One (which also left Michael a little curious).

Soliera decided to battle Michael with their “Ultra Beast Poipole'' which Michael recognizes from the last time they battled (during UM14) as it reveals to the young trial-goer that their Poipole was an Ultra Beast, so Michael chose to face them with Toucannon. At the end, Toucannon pulled off a finishing blow on Poipole from using the Grass-Type Z-Move: Bloom Doom for the first time. The Ultra Recon Squad commented how their Pokemon Battling skills may not be so sufficient as they shall continue to find a way to deal with Necrozma, Michael then continued on through the mansion.

Michael has finally found the game counterpart of Lillie who was with the game counterpart of Aether Foundation President Lusamine who gave the young trial-goer a kind greeting. Lillie’s game counterpart who just noticed Michael’s appearance, was surprised to see the young trial-goer had come to help her, to which she thanked him as he was glad to see she was okay. Lusamine’s game counterpart questioned if the 2 of them know each other which Michael confirmed that they’re friends but Lusamine’s game counterpart somehow finds it disappointing that Lillie’s game counterpart would be around with a special gifted trainer like Michael. Michael has been observing a confrontation between the game counterparts of Lillie and Lusamine which left him almost speechless. As Lusamine’s game counterpart disappeared through a warp panel, Lillie’s game counterpart turned to Michael whom she was glad had come to help her as she confirmed to the young trial-goer that Lusamine’s game counterpart is her mother and also confirming that her mother has Nebby. Lillie’s game counterpart wants to save Nebby but she doesn’t know what to do as Michael informs her to come along with him into the warp panel since he came to help her and Nebby despite so much that’s been happening lately ever since he came to Aether Paradise. Arriving to an unknown location through the warp panel, Lillie’s game counterpart and Michael approached Lusamine’s game counterpart who showed them her “collection” of her “precious babies” which were Pokemon within some kinds of frozen chambers that both Lillie’s game counterpart and Michael didn’t like seeing. From what Michael has been observing, he starts to ponder about what he learned from the Ultra Recon Squad when Lusamine’s game counterpart claims her intentions to open an Ultra Wormhole to meet and capture Necrozma in order to protect Alola’s light and all the Pokemon she loves. The game counterparts of Hau and Gladion had arrived and were both glad that Lillie’s game counterpart was okay. Although Lusamine’s game counterpart probably didn’t expect a little better from the Ultra Recon Squad but she didn’t like how not much Guzma’s game counterpart couldn’t stop them which led to Michael speaking if she’s referring to the game counterpart of Team Skull’s boss whom he had to defeat in order to reach into the mansion which left a smirk on Lusamine’s game counterpart’s face. From what Gladion’s game counterpart had said to Lusamine’s game counterpart, Michael began to wonder about what he meant by not being able to afford to lose anyone else like his “Father”. Lusamine’s game counterpart replies about never forgetting about what occurred before which led to her disliking Ultra Wormholes from the depths of her heart which is why she must carry out going into an Ultra Wormhole herself and not let anyone stop her, not even her own “daughter” and “son”, that captured the attention of both Hau’s game counterpart and Michael.

The 2 trial-goers were very shocked that the game counterparts of Lillie, Gladion, and Lusamine were all revealed to be a family, which Lusamine’s game counterpart confirms that they once were but her daughter and son had left her but she’ll still protect them when she proceeds with her intentions.

Lusamine’s game counterpart reveals Nebby to be locked in a cage which left Lillie’s game counterpart and Michael worried about it. From what Michael has been continuing to observe, he doesn’t like seeing the relationship of a mother and her daughter going ungood since Lusamine’s game counterpart ignored her daughter’s warnings about using Nebby’s power to open an Ultra Wormhole. Since Lusamine’s game counterpart seems to care about protecting the Pokemon of Alola she loves so much, she’s willing to risk Nebby’s life for it which leaves Michael beginning to feel frustrated about seeing the Aether Foundation president’s game counterpart being like that. Guzma’s game counterpart arrived at the scene whom Lusamine’s game counterpart was pleased to see which left Michael a little more frustrated. While intending to open an Ultra Wormhole with Nebby’s power, Michael noticed the rift opening was similar to the one he saw once before (during UM18) but it then vanished. Lusamine’s game counterpart realized that Nebby was trying to resist since it cares about Lillie’s game counterpart. While admitting that her children have grown a bit since leaving Aether, Lusamine’s game counterpart still won’t let anything get in her way so she’ll make sure to increase the power in Nebby’s cage so it cannot resist any further, which Michael can't help but feeling very frustrated about so much that's happening around him.

Lusamine’s game counterpart noticed Gladion’s game counterpart speaking about if she disappears too, that caught her attention a little from seeing her son worrying for her which made her decide to put his worries to rest by demonstrating her strength in battle then she chose Michael as her opponent, believing if defeating him would silence Lillie’s game counterpart’s objections.

Michael unhappily accepted while pondering about a lot that has occurred ever since he’s been at Aether Paradise, which left him frustrated enough in making sure that the source of the darkness at the heart of Aether Paradise is defeated, which turned out to be the game counterpart of Aether Foundation President Lusamine. At the end of the battle, Michael emerged victorious with Raticate, Incineroar, Toucannon, Lycanroc, and Cha defeating Lusamine’s game counterpart’s Clefable, Milotic, Lopunny, Lilligant, and Bewear, resulting in Toucannon, Lycanroc, Cha, and Eevee gaining enough Exp. Points to level up + Cha has done well in pulling off a finishing blow on Bewear with the Fighting-Type Z-Move: All-Out Pummeling. Lusamine’s game counterpart sees that Michael is strong (which he confirms) then she spoke about might have had her children worry a little too much about her but she reveals that she won’t be going alone as she reveals that Guzma’s game counterpart shall go along with her. As Lusamine’s game counterpart prepares to go meet Necrozma, Gladion’s game counterpart stepped in asking to go with her instead claiming that his Type: Null was born to be a beast killer and he had been raising it to ensure it’s ready to face what lies on the other side of the Ultra Wormhole but Lusamine’s game counterpart just claimed that her son is a sweet boy as she focuses on going to defeat Necrozma to ensure that the Pokemon and light of Alola can be protected. Lusamine’s game counterpart proceeded in using up Nebby’s power to force open an Ultra Wormhole then she went inside of it, everyone watched as Guzma’s game counterpart also went inside then the Ultra Wormhole closed up. Everyone was left almost speechless as Lillie’s game counterpart became saddened for what her mother had done. Lillie’s game counterpart then went to check on Nebby which reveals that it changed forms and is not moving which left Michael feeling sorry that he may have failed to save it. With Nebby placed into Lillie’s game counterpart’s bag, everyone arrived back into the mansion where Wicke’s game counterpart came and was glad that they’re all okay which left Michael being a little happy that Wicke’s game counterpart may have been the only one that wasn’t different than the rest of Aether Paradise. They all began discussing what occurred by Lusamine’s game counterpart which left Gladion’s game counterpart claiming that there’s still much that they must do as despite how she acted toward them, Lusamine’s game counterpart is still the mother of Gladion’s and Lillie’s game counterparts. The Ultra Recon Squad overheard everyone and asked what happened which led to Michael taking care of the explanation. The Ultra Recon Squad didn’t like hearing the way Lusamine’s game counterpart intended to do herself then wondered if her intentions was for her own selfish satisfaction or simply felt too much responsibility to take everything upon herself to fix, which Michael replied it might have been both.

The Ultra Recon Squad reveals to have discussed finding some human they could send through to their world to battle with Pokemon on their behalf which left Michael a little curious about it but it left Gladion’s game counterpart replying about what they’ve said then asked if there’s some other way to open an Ultra Wormhole. The Ultra Recon Squad answered the Altar on Poni Island where the Pokemon that appears there is known as “the beast that calls the moon”, that reminded Michael of a certain legendary pokemon from “The Light of Alola”, which he and Lillie’s game counterpart had read back in Malie City (during UM22). The Ultra Recon Squad claimed to have borrowed such a brute’s power to come to Alola but didn’t expect Guzma’s and Lusamine’s game counterparts to go after Necrozma which them wonder if the people of the world they’re currently in truly have so much confidence in their strength in Pokemon Battle which left Michael believing that there are some who do (like trial-goers) and some who would go a little too far (like Lusamine’s game counterpart). According to the Ultra Recon Squad, Michael didn’t like the thought that Necrozma shall hunger for light if it were to be awakened then it will descend upon Alola to take its light.

Michael was a little fascinated to hear about the Ultra Recon Squad’s world known as Ultra Megalopolis but it became a world without any light left in it. According to the Ultra Recon Squad, Michael understood that they’ve learned that the darkness that once fell upon Alola was driven back with light but they haven’t learned what that light was. As the Ultra Recon Squad departed, Wicke’s game counterpart offered to Lillie’s game counterpart that she and her friends can get some rest in Aether’s residential quarters, which Michael along with Hau’s and Gladion’s game counterparts accepted but Lillie’s game counterpart chose to remain in the room that they’re currently in as she wants to spend some time trying to understand what her mother might’ve been thinking. Michael spoke to Lillie’s game counterpart about making sure to get plenty of much-needed rest while he does the same as he wishes to be refreshed enough to continue helping her and Nebby, which Lillie’s game counterpart understood. Michael stepped outside to look up in the sky while pondering on everything that had occurred, especially from finally receiving some answers about Faba’s game counterpart’s reports about “his superior’s family” and about the Aether Foundation’s involvement with Cosmog which allowed him to understand Lillie’s game counterpart’s own involvement into it. The young trial-goer shall make sure to continue to help out in any way he can as he then went back inside to rest.

Answer: Lusamine's game counterpart

Lesson Notes: Michael Lettman originally intended to have Alolan Michael defeat Lusamine’s game counterpart in a 5-0 victory but after Raticate lost to Clefable Michael Lettman ended up going a little too far in allowing his opponent to earn a chance to defeat some of Alolan Michael’s team until both side are down to one Pokemon + the “save” button wasn’t pressed at that time before that battle occurred but Michael Lettman does feel a little ashamed in allowing Alolan Michael’s opponent to defeat some of his team when the opponent was an enemy to be defeated for good. Lesson Notes: Michael Lettman got a little scrambled reminiscing about what occurred during that time when Alolan Michael was observing Lusmaine’s game counterpart’s intentions so he allowed his PlayStation Vita to record what occurred during the time when everyone were with the Ultra Recon Squad so at least that could be described properly. Lesson Notes: For the second time since UM30, an imaginary episode didn’t end at a Pokemon Center as Michael Lettman had to end it at a pause somewhere at Aether Paradise before being all set to allow Alolan Michael to continue with an important quest, which may be similar with the real Pokemon anime when they ended an episode during an arc of 2 or more episodes.
