Battle Video: Victory in the Battle Royal Dome's Master Rank

Michael’s “Poke Problem”: Which Pokemon did Michael get at Poke Pelago? Choices: Lapras, Hoothoot, Comfey, Mr. Mime (Answer Revealed Below) (Exp. Share: Off)

UM42's Documentation ("Plot")

Michael entered the Battle Royal Dome and finished his registration in the Battle Royal’s Master Rank and his 3 chosen Pokemon were Incineroar, Poipole, and Pikachu as the young trial-goer then stepped into the ring to begin his participation. Thanks to the hard work of Poipole, Pikachu and his partner Incineroar, Michael emerged victorious as he then confirmed to his Rotom Dex to have the entire battle saved in a Battle Video.

As the receptionist congratulates Michael on his victory, she gives him the Battle Points that he earns and mentions now that the young trial-goer stands at the pinnacle of the Battle Royal Dome, he might really nail a new battle style, which Michael doesn’t seem to understand much about but he can still enjoy participating in any ranks of the Battle Royal Dome. Michael already decided to participate in the Master Rank again and since his Incineroar had already done so well in all the ranks, he switched out some of his Pokemon Friends at a nearby PC Box (despite Incineroar being the only one remaining on hand) 3 chosen Pokemon were Lycanroc, Eevee, and Bewear as the young trial-goer then stepped into the ring to begin his participation. Michael’s 3 chosen Pokemon had battled so well for the young trial-goer to emerge victorious as he then confirmed to his Rotom Dex to have the entire battle saved in a Battle Video. As the receptionist congratulates Michael on his victory, she gives him the Battle Points that he earns. The next day during a small visit to Poke Pelago, Michael came across a wild Hoothoot that he had been seeing at Poke Pelago for a long time. The young trial-goer is aware that wild Pokemon sometimes drop by at Poke Pelago whenever there’s a crate filled with PokeBeans, so he wonders why Hoothoot had been staying put. According to Mohn’s game counterpart, Hoothoot had taken quite a liking to Poke Pelago that it chose not to leave and had been playing with Michael’s Pokemon friends ever since. Seeing that Hoothoot is so happy, Mohn’s game counterpart suggested letting Hoothoot join Michael’s team which was a little surprising for the young trial-goer. Michael took out a PokeBall, which the wild Hoothoot entered into as he then welcomed another Pokemon Friend to the rest of his team. After caring for his newly-caught Hoothoot in a Pokemon Refresh activity, Michael has decided to participate in the Battle Royal’s Normal Rank once again so Hoothoot can enjoy battling some opponents with him. Michael first chose to try out using only one of his Rare Candies by feeding one to Hoothoot thus it was elevated up a level then apparently, Hoothoot evolved into Noctowl, which was a little shocking for Michael to see in amazement. As Michael gazed at his newly-evolved Noctowl, Rotom Dex suggested it would be a good time to take some photos, which the young trial-goer happily agreed with as he took nice photos with Noctowl, Poipole, and Pikachu + Michael’s Rotom Dex was in a good mood after taking photos that it started up the Roto Loto which gave the young trial-goer 2 Roto Exp. Points that shall be helpful for training. During his participation in the Battle Royal’s Normal Rank with his 3 chosen Pokemon, Raticate Bewear, and Noctowl, Michael got to try out the Fairy-Type Z-Move: Twinkle Tackle, for the first time with Noctowl. At the end, Noctowl pulled off a finishing blow that was enough for Michael to emerge victorious as he then confirmed to his Rotom Dex to have the entire battle saved in a Battle Video and received the Battle Points that he earned. It was time for the young trial-goer to depart for Ula’ula Island and he had decided to accept Mantine Surfing as his transport to there but he first stopped by a swimmer at a stand in Heahea Beach who can teach moves to Pokemon in exchange for Battle Points. With many Battle Points that he earned on his journey, he decided to try out one of the moves and accepted a Steel-Type Move known as Iron Tail for his Pikachu, which was then tutored and the young trial-goer gave his thanks (and 8 Battle Points) to said swimmer. Michael spoke to another swimmer about a surfing move he learned from the Surf Association Boss (during UM40) which was called Over-The-Gyarados but afterwards, the young trial-goer is not sure if he could pull off that move but he can still best his own records in Mantine Surfing which he managed to at the end, by beating his own record in the Super Course while arriving at Ula’ula Island. Arriving at Tapu Village’s Pokemon Center, Michael didn’t mind trying out one of his Roto Bargains while purchasing some much-needed Revives and Hyper Potions at the PokeMart. After enjoying some Tapu Cocoa at the Pokemon Center Cafe, Michael decided to stop by Festival Plaza for a while and managed to increase some of its ranking again while also allowing his Pikachu to enjoy some lunch at the Battle Table facility and enjoy some fun time at the Clink-Clunk Land facility. Even though Sophocles’ game counterpart accepted leaving Festival Plaza in Michael’s care, the young trial-goer didn’t wanna rename the plaza as he didn’t mind its original name. Michael did mention to himself that he’d try out the Battle Agency (during UM24) and he accepted in doing so right away as he then received some info from the Battle Agency receptionist and accepted his first borrowed Pokemon to be a Porygon-Z.

At the end, Michael and 2 of his Festival Fans (an Oven Rotom trainer and a Turtonator trainer) pulled off a successful challenge (with 3 Battle Videos saved up). The young trial-goer received thanks from Sophocles’ game counterpart and the Battle Agency receptionist for the increasing of Festival Plaza’s rank as he’ll continue to do so anytime. After some lunch was purchased for Noctowl at the Battle Table, Michael departed from Festival Plaza and began training with Noctowl. Even after using 3 Roto Exp. Points, Michael and Noctowl continued with regular training resulting in Noctowl gaining much Exp. Points to level up + Michael and Noctowl enjoyed their Z-Move training with the Fairy-Type Z-Move: Twinkle Tackle. After Noctowl was recovered, Michael didn’t mind feeding one more Rare Candy to Noctowl thus it was elevated up another level and learned a new move in the process. Stopping by at Poke Pelago, Mohn’s game counterpart was already impressed to see Hoothoot had evolved not long after it joined Michael’s team. Afterwards the young trial-goer had pondered on some decisions that he had decided to take care of as he then spoke to some of his Pokemon friends about continuing to enjoy the rest of their journey.
