PS29 (Rival Showdown II): Hop, the Sibling of a Champion!
PS29's Documented "Plot"
After a quick rotation (via Pokemon Box Link), Challenger Michael stepped back onto the battlefield where Challenger Hop awaits + a massive crowd watching.
Both Champion-endorsed Gym Challengers reminisced back when they were in Postwick (their hometown) where they've received their starter Pokemon from Champion Leon & even had their 1st-ever battle. Now they're about to battle each other at Wyndon Stadium itself as their promise showdown begins.
Hop's Dubwool succeeds in taking out Michael's Slowpoke & Venasaur before it lost to Dracovish. Although Hop's Snorlax took out Michael's Dracovish, Michael fortunately managed to defeat 3 of Hop's Pokemon (Snorlax, Pincurchin, Corviknight) thanks to his secret armor (Urshifu). Down to 1 Pokemon, Hop brought out his Cinderace & dynamaxed it to succeed in taking down Michael's Urshifu. Down to 1 Pokemon also, Michael brought out his Inteleon & gigantamaxed it for a final showdown with Hop's Dynamax Cinderace. Inteleon emerged victorious at the end, giving Challenger Michael the win.
The 2 Champion-endorsed Gym Challengers thanked each other for everything they gave in their battle + just like how Hop felt, Michael was also glad that his friend/rival was in the stadium with him.
Champion Leon met up with the 2 & gave his gratitude for not just their recent match but for growing as strong trainers since they've set off from Postwick. As Champion Leon mentioned how he hopes to end up facing Michael, the latter vows to make sure that happens since he did defeat his own rivals to get to this point.
After heading back to the Rose of the Rondelands hotel to wait on having dinner with Champion Leon, Michael & Hop were approached by a reporter who went asking questions to the former (after his recent match) while the latter had to put a stop to it.
While still waiting, Michael & Hop started to get a little concerned about Champion Leon but when Piers showed up, they learned from him about Champion Leon running late due to something he had to do at Rose Tower. Decided to head for Rose Tower also, Michael & Hop asked Piers to take them there which he reluctantly accepted as they'll make sure to find Champion Leon.
