UM14's Documentation ("Plot")
While traveling through Paniola Ranch, Michael was still thinking about what happened with his Trumbeak during the trial at Brooklet Hill. He wishes to battle more with Trumbeak to make up for its loss against Totem Araquanid. Arriving back to the path to Royal Avenue that was still blocked by the same Sudowoodo, Michael showed them his Waterium Z which led to them running away off the path. Michael then noticed Soliera and Phyco appearing on the path and from what they said, Michael wonders about them needing to gather data to win Pokemon Battles (even though he started to have that same feeling himself). Phyco requested Soliera to do something, which was revealed to be asking Michael to face her in a Pokemon Battle, which he accepts as Soliera informs him that he’ll be facing her “Poipole”.
As the battle started and Michael saw Poipole for the first time, it looked like an unknown kind of Pokemon that Michael had never seen and yet he remembered how Soliera and Phyco were strange unknown people when he first met them. Michael had chosen Trumbeak to face Poipole as he hoped the battle could help with the two of them battling together well. Not only was Michael doing good battling with Trumbeak so far, he was willing to try the Flying-Type Z-Move once again as Trumbeak unleashed its Supersonic Skystrike which managed to defeat Poipole. Michael was happily proud of both him and Trumbeak who gained enough Exp. Points to level up. Not only Soliera thanked Michael for battling her, Michael apparently gave thanks to her as well as it felt like he needed that battle for making it up to Trumbeak. From what Soliera and Phyco had said before they left, Michael wondered what they meant by the “Blinding One” and their job as the “Ultra Recon Squad”. The same child that Michael met before on Paniola Ranch founded everything that happened to be weird but he was happy that Michael took care of those Sudowoodo, which left the path to be open for everyone so he kindly gave Michael a Mystic Water then he informed Michael about the Battle Royal Dome on Royal Avenue, which Michael is thinking about checking out as he sets off onto Route 6. Strolling on Route 6, Michael battled with Trumbeak and Rockruff to defeat a dancing family’s Igglybuff and Jigglypuff then he battled with the same two Pokemon friends to defeat another trainer’s Bounsweet and Mareep. Michael came across a Pokemon which according to his Rotom Dex was a Mudsdale then its trainer asked Michael to come to her aid with a situation. It’s revealed that the Mudsdale trainer was defending a Drifloon from Team Skull who remembers Michael from Melemele. Michael then confirms to the Mudsdale trainer that he knows Team Skull from having to defeat them several times. The Mudsdale trainer introduced herself as Hapu (her game counterpart) and she leaves 1 Team Skull Grunt to Michael while she takes care of the other. After Michael and his Trumbeak manage to defeat that grunt and his Drowzee, both defeated Team Skull grunts retreat and the Drifloon safely leaves back to its home. The game counterpart of Hapu turned to Michael to thank him for his help as he introduced himself to her. Hapu’s game counterpart liked the way Michael handled himself in battle then she explained her important reasons that she and her Mudsdale are traveling as she believes that her and Michael shall cross paths again since she is indebted for his aid. Before she and her Mudsdale left, Hapu’s game counterpart and her Mudsdale mentioned that Michael should try out a Battle Royal at the Battle Royal Dome which he shall do. Afterwards Michael defeated a Cubone trainer with his Trumbeak then defeated an Oricorio trainer with his Rockruff, which led to Cha (Michael’s Hawlucha) earning enough Exp. Points to level up. Michael entered Royal Avenue then began looking around as his Rotom Dex located a photo spot near some pink flowers where Michael took a photo of a Jigglypuff with the Poke Finder.
After collecting a Totem Sticker, Michael was happy to find a Malasada shop in Royal Avenue where he purchase a malasada for his Trumbeak to enjoy and he also met an employee and her Pyukumuku who spoke with a little too much energy for Michael to understand about trying to be mascots but Michael was kind enough to give her one of his Moomoo Milks for her to make mythic malasadas as she gave Michael a big malasada in return for his Moomoo Milk then left the shop.
Next, Michael visited the Pokemon Fan Club where he had a chat with their president as they talked about how close they are with their Pokemon and how Pokemon grew their bond with their trainers after taking photos together at an Alola Photo Club, which Michael's Rotom Dex remembered its companion doing so with his Pokemon back on Melemele Island. Afterwards Michael came across the same Oricorio trainer named Meredith, which he battled back at Melemele Meadow who asked Michael for another battle, which he accepts as he faces the same kind of Oricorio in a different form which was same kind that he recently battled with Rockruff back on Route 6. Michael and his Trumbeak managed to defeat the Pa’u Style Oricorio which allowed Trumbeak to earn enough Exp. Points to level up and even learn a new move as Michael was starting to feel happy that he was getting back in battling well with Trumbeak. After Meredith left, Michael arrived at the Battle Royal Dome where he and his Rotom Dex saw a familiar person going into the Battle Royal Dome who was revealed to be the game counterpart of Gladion. Although a little surprised to see him again, Michael began to wonder what Gladion’s game counterpart meant by getting strong enough to protect something (or someone). After entering the Battle Royal Dome, someone approached Michael who revealed himself to be the Masked Royal (his game counterpart) who explained to Michael what happens in a Battle Royal which Michael found very amazing. The game counterpart of the Masked Royal asked Michael if he liked to participate in a Battle Royal which he accepted as both the game counterparts of Hau and Gladion were also accepted along with the Masked Royal’s game counterpart himself thus beginning Michael’s very first Battle Royal. As an announcer welcomed everyone to the Battle Royal, the competitors entered into the ring and sent out their Pokemon = Michael and his Torracat, Hau’s game counterpart and his Dartrix, The Masked Royal’s game counterpart and his Rockruff, Gladion’s game counterpart and his Type: Null. As the bell rings for starting the battle, the trainers called out their commands to their partners resulting in Torracat using Fire Fang on Dartrix who managed to endured it but got inflicted with a burn, Rockruff protecting itself from Type: Null’s attack, and Dartrix attacking everyone (except Rockruff who was using Protect) with Razor Leaf. Michael decided to unleash his partner’s Fighting-Type Z-Move which resulted in Rockruff being defeated by Torracat’s All-Out Pummeling. After the Battle Royal ended, the Masked Royal’s game counterpart asked everyone how their Battle Royal was, to which Michael answered that he felt determined and focused out there with his partner Torracat battling in the ring. Someone then appeared and spoke how he enjoyed Michael and his partner Torracat battling. He then introduced himself as Kiawe (his game counterpart) who Michael learned about from Lana’s game counterpart. The game counterpart of Kiawe explains that he’ll be waiting at the peak of Wela Volcano Park as Michael said that he shall be ready to head up there to take on the trial with his team. As Kiawe’s game counterpart departed, The Masked Royal’s game counterpart asked Hau’s game counterpart and Michael how their trials were going which led to Hau’s game counterpart asking how he knew about their trials then assumed it was because of their amulets which Michael can agree with but he also got a little curious about the game counterpart of the Masked Royal as the 2 trial-goers then answered that they’re doing good with their island challenge.
Hau’s game counterpart asked Gladion’s game counterpart why he would do a Battle Royal which he answered that he doesn’t do it for play and that he’ll get nowhere if he remains weak which made Hau’s game counterpart reply that people can achieve more if they do something together (like participating in a Battle Royal) but no comment came from Gladion’s game counterpart as he then departs.
Hau’s game counterpart then wondered what he meant as Michael began to ponder that Gladion’s game counterpart really must have important reasons for getting stronger with his Type: Null.
Hau’s game counterpart mentioned that he enjoyed the Battle Royal and that he’ll try it out again with his Pokemon while Michael mentions that he’s gonna get his team ready for the trial at Wela Volcano Park as he departed from the Battle Royal Dome (after collecting a few Totem Stickers as well). After some playtime with a Murkrow and collecting another Totem Sticker, Michael went into the Thrifty Megamart where he received a discount coupon from a store clerk and began looking around when he stumbled upon the same Drifloon that he saved on Route 6 who was back with its young trainer (who thanked Michael for saving it) as it gave Michael a Lemonade to thank him for his help. Michael then saw a Hypno who’s looking for a donation from someone which Michael somehow didn’t mind and gave it some of his earnings, which led to the Hypno revealing to be a person in a Pokemon costume who thanked Michael for his kindness and gave him the Technical Machine for Rest. After receiving a Tamato Berry from an employee, Michael shopped for some Potions and it was thanks to his discount coupon that his spending was cut in half. After arriving at Royal Avenue’s Pokemon Center, Michael learns that his Pokemon Egg shall be a little close to hatching so he decides to take a stroll with his Egg across Royal Avenue for a while. The stroll led to having a conversation with a young boy who needed some help with gaining courage, which Michael started to help out with by informing him about his participation in a Battle Royal, which started to give the young boy some encouragement that he needed.
Back in Royal Avenue’s Pokemon Center (after the stroll ended), Michael and his Pokemon Friends gathered around their Pokemon Egg as it hatched into an Eevee. Michael was so thrilled about having the Evolution Pokemon on his team as his Pokemon friends welcomed their newly-hatched friend onto their team.
