UM20's Documentation ("Plot")
Michael sets off into Memorial Hill which reminded him of the Hau’oli Cemetery that he visited back on Melemele Island.
Michael and his Eevee managed to defeat a young trainer’s Magby and Ledian, which resulted in Torracat, Lycanroc, and Cha (Michael’s Hawlucha) gaining enough Exp. Points to level up (+ Cha learned a new move). It was thanks to battling with Cha that Michael won against a Jolteon trainer, a trainer’s Furfrou and Comfey, and an Ariados trainer, which all resulted in Cha, Toucannon, Eevee, and Raticate gaining enough Exp. Points to level up. Michael then saw Team Skull having to have taken a Slowpoke from 2 members of the Aether Foundation. An unknown Aether Foundation guy noticed Michael and asked for his help in bringing down Team Skull, which he accepted into doing so. Michael managed to defeat a Team Skull grunt’s Raticate with his own Totem-sized Raticate, which resulted in Team Skull retreating.
After the 2 people from the Aether Foundation thanked Michael for saving their Slowpoke, the unknown Aether Foundation guy asked Michael if he was a trial-goer, which he answered yes along with mentioning about his upcoming Akala Island grand trial. Michael was informed after he had his upcoming grand trial to meet with the unknown Aether Foundation guy at Hano Grand Resort so he may take Michael to a wonderful place.
After the 2 people from the Aether Foundation had left, Michael’s Rotom Dex complained how it didn’t like the unknown Aether Foundation guy since he acted like he was full of himself which Michael might’ve noticed a little. Afterwards Michael and his Raticate defeated a Wishiwashi trainer, Michael took a small break at 2 fishing spots for a little training with his team, then Michael and Cha defeated a Crabrawler trainer. As Michael arrived on the path towards the Ruins of Life, someone approached Michael who introduced herself as Plumeria (her game counterpart) and she revealed to have heard of Michael from Gladion’s game counterpart.
The game counterpart of Plumeria revealed herself to be like a big sister to those of Team Skull and she spoke about how annoyed she was with the way Michael’s been messing with her “brothers and sisters”. Michael then mentioned how he didn’t like Team Skull doing bad things to trainers and their Pokemon during their island challenges so he doesn’t mind defeating them for their mischief, which led to Plumeria’s game counterpart choosing to teach Michael a lesson as Michael can see that he’ll have to battle her. It was thanks to his Lycanroc that Michael defeated Plumeria’s game counterpart’s Golbat and Salandit which led to Lycanroc, Torracat, Cha, and Raticate gaining enough Exp. Points to level up. As Plumeria’s game counterpart admits that Michael is strong, she said to Michael that she’ll get serious if he continues messing with anyone in Team Skull but Michael doesn’t mind that since he sees Team Skull as enemies that’ll do bad things during his island challenge so he must take them down at all costs and hearing that made Plumeria’s game counterpart very frustrated as she walked off. After Michael arrived at the Ruins of Life, the game counterparts of Professor Burnet and Lillie had arrived as well with Professor Burnet’s game counterpart explaining how she had to help Lillie’s game counterpart in bringing her to the ruins when she got lost from trying to avoid Team Skull which Michael didn’t like hearing then thanked Professor Burnet’s game counterpart for helping Lillie’s game counterpart. After Professor Burnet had left to watch a match of the Masked Royal’s game counterpart, Michael had a chat with Lillie’s game counterpart about Nebby and she was very kind to help recover Michael’s team after many recent battles on the way to the ruins. Michael remembered that she and Nebby wanted to come to the Ruins of Life as Lillie’s game counterpart explains how Nebby has been wanting to see the ruins of the Tapus for unknown reasons. Kahuna Olivia’s game counterpart then arrives and meets Lillie’s game counterpart who introduced herself to her as Kahuna Olivia’s game counterpart is happy that Michael has been getting to know the people and Pokemon of Alola, which Michael admits that he’s been enjoying it since he now lives in the Alola region. Kahuna Olivia’s game counterpart announces to Michael that since he had managed to clear all 3 trials of Akala Island, he’s all set to face her in the grand trial right away, which he accepts as Lillie’s game counterpart had already stepped aside to watch. During the battle, Torracat managed to defeat Kahuna Olivia’s game counterpart’s Anorith (which led to Eevee gaining enough Exp. Points to level up) before it got defeated by Kahuna Olivia’s game counterpart’s Lileep, which then got defeated by Toucannon. Kahuna Olivia’s game counterpart and her Midnight Form Lycanroc unleashed their Rock-Type Z-Move: Continental Crush, which defeated Toucannon leading to Michael bringing out his own Midnight Form Lycanroc as his final Pokemon. During the battle’s ending, Michael and Lycanroc unleashed their Fighting-Type Z-Move: All-Out Pummeling, which defeated Kahuna Olivia’s game counterpart’s Midnight Form Lycanroc and earned Michael his second grand trial victory. After caring for his Lycanroc in a quick Pokemon Refresh activity, Kahuna Olivia’s game counterpart congratulated Michael for clearing the Akala Island grand trial, then Michael received a Rockium Z and declared his second grand trial was completed. Kahuna Olivia’s game counterpart then showed Michael the Rock-Type Z-Move pose and the young trial-goer got the Akala stamp of approval on his Trainer Passport. While Lillie’s and Kahuna Olivia’s game counterparts were having a chat, Michael can still understand how much Lillie’s game counterpart has been doing for Nebby even though she’s not a trainer, which is why he’ll continue to help them out no matter what. From what Kahuna Olivia’s game counterpart had said, Michael definitely agrees with her about what kinds of surprises awaits for him to experience during his journey, which could bring much joy to him and his Pokemon Friends. Afterwards Hau’s game counterpart and his partner Dartrix arrived for their grand trial and met up with everyone. Hau’s game counterpart revealed to Michael that he met someone from the Aether Foundation who informed Hau’s game counterpart to meet with him at Hano Grand Resort after his Akala Island grand trial, which surprised Michael a little as he then explained to Hau’s game counterpart that the same thing happened with him, which they both admits that it’s kinda crazy. Kahuna Olivia’s game counterpart mentioned to Michael that he can get there quicker with Charizard via Ride Pager but Michael explains that he’ll go there by foot after a little rest for his hard-working Pokemon Friends at the Pokemon Center. Michael noticed Lillie’s game counterpart looking shocked about the Aether Foundation as she then informs Michael that she’ll stay behind to watch Hau’s game counterpart’s grand trial even though she doesn’t like seeing Pokemon get hurt but she has taken a liking to Hau’s game counterpart’s and Michael’s Pokemon dedicated to battle alongside their trainers, which Michael thanked her for those kind words.
Hau’s game counterpart mentions that he’s not as good as his grandfather in bringing out his Pokemon’s full power but he and his Pokemon are aiming to do the best that they can do to bring out their own full power, which Kahuna Olivia’s game counterpart can definitely agree with as she’s looking forward to see what Hau’s game counterpart shall do in his Akala Island grand trial. Afterwards before Michael parted from everyone, he thanked Lillie’s game counterpart for watching his grand trial and informed her to continue taking care of Nebby, he then thanked Kahuna Olivia’s game counterpart for their grand trial which he had enjoyed, and then wishes Hau’s game counterpart good luck on his grand trial as they’ve confirmed to meet up at Hano Grand Resort later on. Arriving back into Konikoni City, Michael had his Lycanroc receive a nice lomi lomi massage from the lomi lomi massager for all its hard work in their grand trial.
Michael arrived back to Konikoni City’s Pokemon Center and had his team recovered, they all relaxed at the Pokemon Center Cafe where Michael thanked his Pokemon Friends for all their hard work from on the way to the Ruins of Life and their Akala Island grand trial as Michael shall look forward to try out the Rock-Type Z-Move with his Lycanroc.
