Michael’s “Poke Problem”: Which is the wondrous place that Hau’s game counterpart and Michael visited? Choices: Tide Song Hotel, Battle Royal Dome, Fossil Restoration Center, Aether Paradise (Answer Revealed Below) (Exp. Share: Off)
UM21's Documentation ("Plot")
Michael turned off his Exp. Share for upcoming separative training with each of his Pokemon Friends, collected a Totem Sticker, played with a Stufful, and allowed the lomi lomi massager to give a massage treatment for Cha (Michael’s Hawlucha) as Michael was then all set to depart from Konikoni City. A small visit to the Dimensional Research Lab led to Professor Burnet’s game counterpart learning about Michael’s 2nd Grand Trial victory, which gave him a legendary mirror called the Reveal Glass. Michael arrived at Hano Grand Resort to meet with the unknown Aether Foundation guy. After attended a play wedding with children to watch 2 Pikachu get married then collected another Totem Sticker, Michael noticed a reporter disturbing a famous Pikachu named Chuuster, which led to Michael stepping in to help it out but that led to the reporter misjudging Michael about not wanting him to have her scoop so she sent out her Miltank, which resulted in Michael getting dragged into battle but he and his partner Torracat did managed to win at the end. After the reporter ran off, Chuuster’s trainer thanked Michael for his help out of that situation and because Chuuster was most appreciative of Michael’s help, it allowed its trainer to hand Michael the Z-Crystal for a Pikachu, Pikanium Z, which the young trial-goer happily accepted and gave his thanks to them + Chuuster even shown Michael the Z-Move pose for the Pikanium Z.
Chuuster’s trainer informed Michael that he could come back to him if he managed to get a Pikachu so that a move called Volt Tackle would be tutored since it’s needed for the Pikachu Z-Move which the young trial-goer understood. While taking a stroll around Hano Beach then collected another Totem Sticker, from what an employee of Hano Grand Resort had explained, Michael accepted being a Pyukumuku chucker to help with a few Pyukumuku that were washed onto shore by chucking them safely back into the water.
Michael has gotten busy with chucking 2 Pyukumuku back into the water, played with a Sandygast, collected a Totem Sticker, founded 2 Heart Scales via the Stoutland Search, and trained with Eevee by battling 2 wild Staryu.
Michael then sets off into the water by the Lapras Paddle to find opponents to battle which led to Eevee defeating a wild Tentacool then Raticate defeated 2 more wild Tentacools. Separative training began with Michael and his team finding trainers to battle, Toucannon defeated a Pelipper trainer (resulting in earning enough Exp. Points for it to level-up), Torracat defeated a Mankey trainer, Raticate and Eevee defeated a trainer’s Basculin and Poliwhirl (resulting in earning enough Exp. Points for Raticate to level-up and learn a new move), Eevee defeated a trainer’s Goldeen and Staryu, Lycanroc defeated a Gyarados trainer (resulting in earning enough Exp. Points for it to level-up), and Eevee defeated a Pyukumuku trainer (resulting in earning enough Exp. Points for it to level-up).
After chucking the remaining Pyukumuku back into the water then informing the same employee of Hano Grand Resort about it, he thanked Michael for his help in safely getting the Pyukumuku into the water and making the beach a little more safer for hotel guests. Michael received a well-earned pay from that employee for being a good Pyukumuku chucker then Michael was informed that he can come back if they needed a Pyukumuku chucker again, which he understood.
Entering inside Hano Grand Resort, Michael met up with the unknown Aether Foundation guy who introduced himself as Faba (his game counterpart) then he explained to Michael that the wondrous place he’ll be seeing is Aether Paradise. From what the game counterpart of Faba had explained, it sounded like an important location of the Aether Foundation, which has Michael intrigued. Michael then explained that he’s not ready to go yet from choosing to look around inside the Hano Grand Resort first which frustrated Faba’s game counterpart but he’ll wait for Michael to be ready.
From what a Crabrawler trainer explained after seeing Michael’s Z-Power Ring, Michael agrees to help her Crabrawler gain some battling spirit by letting it see a Z-Move in battle. With Cha, Michael defeated Crabrawler with the Fighting-Type Z-Move: All-Out Pummeling but it did feel the fighting spirit like its trainer hoped it would and Michael was thanked for his help. After collecting another Totem Sticker, Michael and his Toucannon defeated a traveling songwriter’s Trumbeak.
Afterwards Michael came across 2 golfer girls who looked like they were making a Machamp a little comfortable so he decided to step in to see what they were doing which led to the 2 golfer girls being rude from not liking Michael disturbing them so they sent out their Oricorio (Pom-Pom Style and Pa’u Style) to deal with him. Not only Michael didn’t like getting dragged into a battle like that but he also didn’t like their rudeness so he didn’t mind taking them down with Eevee and Raticate which he did. After the 2 golfer girls took off, the Machamp was revealed to be a man is a Pokemon costume who not only didn’t need any help after all but he was just as rude as the golfer girls which left Michael thinking that he should have just let them be but that rude man did understood what Michael tried to do so he can’t get mad at him and gave him the Technical Machine for Attract. Although Michael really didn't like dealing with 2 rude girls and an unappreciative rude man in a Pokemon costume, he started to only be okay with the fact that messing with them led to getting a Technical Machine and a victory with Eevee and Raticate in battle. Just as Michael informed Faba’s game counterpart that he was now ready to go, the game counterparts of Hau, Professor Kukui, and Kahuna Olivia had arrived as Michael was happy to learn that Hau’s game counterpart had cleared his Akala Island grand trial.
As Kahuna Olivia’s game counterpart gave some good words to both Hau’s game counterpart and Michael, Hau’s game counterpart asked Professor Kukui’s game counterpart if he was coming along but he explained that he had important business to attend to and that he’ll wait to hear back later on about Hau’s game counterpart and Michael’s trip to Aether Paradise. Professor Kukui’s game counterpart then revealed that they’ll be meeting up on the next island, which caught Michael's attention a little.
Michael now understands that he and Hau’s game counterpart have finished up with their island challenge on Akala Island so it was time to head toward the next destination, which is Ula’ula Island. Professor Kukui’s game counterpart informed the 2 trial-goers to meet up with him later on at Malie Garden, then they gave a nice goodbye to Kahuna Olivia’s game counterpart for the great times they’ve had on Akala Island, Hau’s game counterpart and Michael has departed with Faba’s game counterpart for their wondrous trip to Aether Paradise. Arriving at Aether Paradise, Michael has been fascinated to have learned from Faba’s game counterpart about the Aether Foundation’s purposes of making a conservation for Pokemon at Aether Paradise. Faba’s game counterpart also informed the 2 trial-goers that a jamming signal has been broadcast to prevent Poke Balls from functioning for important reasons, which they both understood. Faba’s game counterpart had informed another person to show Hau’s game counterpart and Michael the conservation area then allow them to meet their president. After Faba’s game counterpart had left, the other person introduced herself as Wicke (her game counterpart) who apparently knows about Hau’s game counterpart and Michael which surprised them both as the game counterpart of Wicke explains that she heard about their progress on Akala Island even when they’ve helped save Pokemon, which she thanked them for. Proceeding with their tour, Wicke’s game counterpart first took Hau’s game counterpart and Michael to Aether Paradise’s main entrance which also included an employee at a reception desk who can help recover trainers’ Pokemon.
From what Wicke’s game counterpart asked, Michael confirms to her that he and Hau’s game counterpart are both trial-goers and becoming champions can be involved in what both of them are aiming for in their island challenges.
From what Wicke’s game counterpart also asked, both Hau’s game counterpart and Michael confirms to her that they are around 11-years-old and while Hau’s game counterpart is aiming to be a stronger trainer than his gramps, he wishes to focus on enjoy the rest of his island challenge, which Michael admits that he wishes to do the same with his Pokemon Friends. Not only Wicke’s game counterpart is happy for the 2 trial-goers, she’s also happy for how young kids can yearn for becoming trainers that can be like parents to their Pokemon, which Michael can definitely understand. Wicke’s game counterpart then brought the 2 trial-goers to the conservation area where Michael is first seeing that area as a safe haven for Pokemon. From what Wicke’s game counterpart explained, Michael was impressed with how she traveled in Kanto once and she knows much about Corsola, which a few of those Pokemon were looking well in the conservation area.
From what Michael has been learning from the tour (and Wicke’s game counterpart), he is grateful for what the Aether Foundation has been doing for many Pokemon that were brought to the conservation area to be cared for, especially the Pokemon that were targeted by Team Skull (which Michael was a little frustrated to hear about).
Michael was so amazed with the tour that he agrees with Hau’s game counterpart that the Aether Foundation seems awesome, which Wicke’s game counterpart happily thanked them for. Afterwards Wicke’s game counterpart explains that their president is in the conservation area and they can go see her, which they understood. After some play time with a Starmie, Michael saw a woman who was talking to some of the Pokemon at the conservation area as Hau’s and Wicke’s game counterparts caught up with him. As the woman welcomed Hau’s game counterpart and Michael to the Aether Foundation’s own private island (known as Aether Paradise), she introduced herself as Lusamine (her game counterpart), the Aether Foundation President. As the 2 trial-goers were honored to meet the game counterpart of Lusamine, Michael explained that he’s been so grateful and fascinated with everything he’s been learning about the Aether Foundation and thanked Lusamine’s game counterpart for what her foundation has done for all kinds of Pokemon as she was a little impressed with Michael taking a liking to her foundation’s work. From what Lusamine’s game counterpart explained, Hau’s game counterpart and Michael can understand that she’s happy that are trainers like the 2 of them out there who are doing so well for their Pokemon as she also explained that there have also been bad people who’ve done so much harm to Pokemon which Michael can also understand. Which is why she’s been working like a mother to all kinds of Pokemon by showering them with love and helping them out with much caring as Michael was happy to hear that Lusamine’s game counterpart has been doing good as Aether Foundation’s president. Hau’s game counterpart was surprised that Lusamine’s game counterpart proclaims that she’s already over 40 yet she looks almost a bit young as the 2 trial-goers. From what Lusamine’s game counterpart commented to Hau’s game counterpart, he’s not sure about looking for a new outfit especially when he commented to Lusamine’s game counterpart that no one can pull off her own look except for maybe Lillie’s game counterpart, which gave Lusamine’s game counterpart a brief surprised look on her face which Michael noticed. From what Lusamine’s game counterpart then explained, Michael wondered what she meant about children being happier if they’d listen to the adults around them in their lives. All of a sudden, a giant opened hole appeared with an unknown creature coming out of it which Lusamine’s game counterpart was amazed to see. Hau’s game counterpart then asked Michael if he could do something about that thing which he decided to accept since he’s a little worried as Hau’s game counterpart is. As Michael was facing the unknown creature with his Midnight Form Lycanroc, it was eventually defeated by Michael and Lycanroc’s Rock-Type Z-Move: Continental Crush (being used for the first time). As the unknown creature disappeared, Michael was a little bewildered to overhear Lusamine’s game counterpart proclaiming that she needs that Pokemon and that she’ll have to get it back.
As everyone confirms that they’re all okay, Phyco and Soliera have shown up and explained that it was their first time seeing an Ultra Wormhole and an Ultra Beast which came out of it. Lusamine’s game counterpart reveals that those 2 unknown people are the Ultra Recon Squad who’ve been providing advice about Ultra Beasts for the Aether Foundation. As Lusamine’s game counterpart asked her 2 guests to introduce themselves, both Phyco and Michael reveal to everyone that they know each other from their past encounters. After hearing what Soliera explained from their introduction, Michael asked them about the Ultra Wormholes, which led to them revealing that the 2 of them are from another world beyond an Ultra Wormhole and they’ve explained the history of what occurred in their world along with the legend of the Blinding One, which was known as Necrozma.
With everyone learning about what might occur with Alola’s light if Necrozma gets involved, Lusamine’s game counterpart informs everyone to not worry as she wishes to be ready to have Alola’s light protected if Necrozma were to appear. After knowing everything he was informed about, Michael began to clear up a few things that he’s been learning during his journey, the 2 unknown strangers known as Soliera and Captain Phyco that he’s been meeting during his journey were part of the Ultra Recon Squad who are not from Alola but from a world beyond an Ultra Wormhole, the “Blinding One”, which Michael overheard them talking about once was revealed to be known as Necrozma, the “president”, which Michael overheard them talking about once was revealed to be the game counterpart of Lusamine, the unknown creature that Michael battled was revealed to be an Ultra Beast, and the giant opened hole which the Ultra Beast came out of was revealed to be an Ultra Wormhole.
As all that clarification was now on Michael’s mind, he wondered about what other surprises shall occur during his journey by the time he receives more clarification about Alola’s mysteries. As Wicke’s game counterpart was informed to help the 2 trial-goers reach their next island, Hau’s game counterpart and Michael bid a good farewell to the game counterpart of the Aether Foundation President. With their tour of Aether Paradise finished, Hau’s game counterpart and Michael talked about their surprising encounters as they’ve seen an Ultra Wormhole for the first time, they’ve seen an Ultra Beast for the first time, Michael faced that Ultra Beast in battle (and defeated it), and they’re now aware of the Ultra Recon Squad, all of which made them wanna inform Professor Burnet’s game counterpart about later on.
Wicke’s game counterpart agrees with the 2 trial-goers that what occurred during their tour was a surprise for her and others as well but she was happy about meeting Hau’s game counterpart and Michael so she gave them gifts, big malasadas for Hau’s game counterpart and the Technical Machine for Psychic, for Michael.
Hau’s game counterpart and Michael bid a good farewell to Wicke’s game counterpart who hope they’ll have wondrous adventures on their journeys, which the 2 trial-goers are certain that they will as they’ve gone aboard their transport ship to the next island and departed from Aether Paradise. On the ship, Hau’s game counterpart commented about the Ultra Wormhole, the Ultra Beast, and the Ultra Recon Squad being all real, which were surprising experiences for the 2 trial-goers. Michael can agree with Hau’s game counterpart about wondering what other kinds of surprising experiences await for them on the next island as Hau’s game counterpart shares one of his malasadas with Michael as they’ll need all the energy they can get for lies ahead for them on their island challenges. Arriving on Ula’ula Island, Hau’s game counterpart remembers that he and Michael are to meet up with Professor Kukui’s game counterpart at Malie Garden which Michael’s Rotom Dex explains that it’s near the Pokemon Center so they’re actually close by. Hau’s game counterpart and Michael parted from each other after confirming they’ll meet up at Malie Garden as Michael went into Malie City’s Pokemon Center for a small break after many recent surprising experiences. Apparently after seeing Michael taking a break at the Pokemon Center Cafe, Nurse Joy decides to take a break there herself as she and Michael had a chat about how good it can be to take a break for going through so much. Since Michael understood Nurse Joy’s reasons for taking a break, she gave him some new Poke Beans for his Pokemon, which he thanked her for as her break was finished and she went back to her job. As Michael relaxed by drinking some Roserade Tea and his Pokemon Friends enjoying some Poke Beans (in a Pokemon Refresh activity), Michael was impressed in learning how he fed his team a total of 111 Poke Beans in their past Pokemon Refresh activities, which shows how much he’s been caring for them after they’ve battled with him.
Michael talked with his team and Rotom Dex about preparing themselves for what kinds of experiences await them on Ula’ula Island, especially if they can be very surprising.
