Michael’s “Poke Problem”: Michael receives a Z-Crystal for which Pokemon? Choices: Primarina, Incineroar, Deciudeye, Lycanroc (Answer Revealed Below) (Exp. Share: Off)

UM22's Documentation ("Plot")

After Michael has met up with Hau’s game counterpart, they agree to have a battle, which ends in a 5-0 victory for Michael’s team, which led to some of his Pokemon Friends earning good amounts of Exp. Points to level up, Torracat learning a new move, and Eevee using a Z-Move for the first time (Normal-Type Z-Move: Breakneck Blitz), which help lead to winning against one of its evolved forms (the Water-Type Vaporeon). After the battle, Hau’s game counterpart informed Michael about a Z-Crystal for Lycanroc that came with the set of Big Malasadas that he received from Wicke’s game counterpart but since he’s not planning on adding a Lycanroc onto his team, he figured Michael’s Lycanroc can use it, which Michael happily understood and accepted the Lycanium Z. Michael agrees with Hau’s game counterpart about having a blast from battling with his team and he also agrees with Hau’s game counterpart about whether winning or losing, trainers can feel some joy from battling alongside with Pokemon. Hau’s game counterpart’s Dartrix looked a little unhappy from believing that its trainer’s team are not getting that much stronger, which its trainer himself needed to explain that he’s aware that he and his Pokemon are to be in total sync with each other as he believes that he and his team can get there. Michael commented on how his friend’s team were indeed strong as during the battle, Dartrix came close to defeating Torracat and it was impressive to see that Hau’s game counterpart’s Pikachu and Eevee have both evolved, which Hau’s game counterpart thanked Michael for his kind words. As Hau’s game counterpart sets off into Malie Garden with Michael following behind, the latter notices Lillie’s game counterpart who hasn’t seen Michael in a while as she reminded him to go meet Professor Kukui’s game counterpart at Malie Garden, which he explained that it was exactly what he was gonna do with Hau’s game counterpart as he went into the garden. After arriving in Malie Garden, Hau’s game counterpart and Michael have agreed to split up to search for Professor Kukui’s game counterpart. While strolling around the garden, Michael and his Totem-sized Alolan Raticate defeated a sightseer’s Kantonian Raticate then Michael found a fishing spot to train with his Raticate a little. Afterwards Michael and his Eevee defeated a young preschooler’s Cleffa then Michael continued with a stroll across the garden until he noticed Professor Kukui’s game counterpart at the garden’s tea shop, which Hau’s game counterpart then arrived and also noticed it as well. As Hau’s game counterpart and Michael arrived to Professor Kukui’s game counterpart, he asked the 2 trial-goers about their trip to Aether Paradise, which led to both trial-goers explaining their amazed experiences from seeing an Ultra Wormhole, seeing an Ultra Beast (which Michael battled), and “aliens” from another world (Soliera and Phyco). Professor Kukui’s game counterpart became amazed himself from hearing what happened as he believes that it sounds like another good reason for them to train hard on their island challenges, which the 2 trial-goers both agreed to. From what Professor Kukui’s game counterpart said, Michael wondered a little about all of them going into an Ultra Wormhole, which may allow them to learn more about Ultra Beasts and other worlds. Professor Kukui’s game counterpart then informs the 2 trial-goers about the next trial, which is on Mount Hokulani and they can get there by bus on Route 10. Hau’s game counterpart informs that they can go without him as he’ll be busy at the Malasada Shop to purchase sweets for his Pokemon, which Michael likes hearing that Pokemon can enjoy sweet treats fed to them by their caring trainer, which can result in an increase in affection between trainer and Pokemon. Professor Kukui’s game counterpart then asked about Michael, to which he answered that he’ll go when he’s all set, which Professor Kukui’s game counterpart understood and informed Michael that he’ll be waiting for him at the bus stop on Route 10. As Professor Kukui’s game counterpart departed, Hau’s game counterpart informs Michael about an observatory on Mount Hokulani but neither he or Michael don’t know much about what they do at an observatory except Michael’s Rotom Dex, which explains how an observatory can be involved in researching outer space and universes. After Hau’s game counterpart departed, It was thanks to Eevee and Lycanroc that Michael managed to win a double battle against 2 sightseers with 2 regional form Vulpix (Kantonian and Alolan), which Michael was a little fascinated to see. Michael then collected a Totem Sticker, found another fishing spot to train with Eevee and Raticate a little, he and Raticate defeated a sightseer’s Kantonian Raichu (leading to Raticate earning enough Exp. Points to level up), and afterwards Michael finished his stroll and departed from Malie Garden. Checking back with Lillie’s game counterpart, she asked Michael about what the President of the Aether Foundation’s game counterpart was like, to which he answered she was nice which Lillie’s game counterpart can understand since they both know that she wants to help protect Pokemon as Michael commented on how fascinating he was in learning what the Aether Foundation does for many harmed Pokemon.

Lillie’s game counterpart spoke to Michael about wanting to take Nebby to Ula’ula Island’s ruins which is located in a desert but she doesn’t like knowing that she might get lost along the way, which Michael can really understand. Lillie’s game counterpart then explained about heading for Malie Library to find an old book that she wants to check out and asked Michael if he wanted to help her look for that book, which he answered yes as she then set off for Malie Library where she believes that she can reach by herself. After collecting another Totem Sticker, Michael arrived at Malie Library where Lillie’s game counterpart managed to reach but she explained to Michael how she got lost yet again, which Michael was sorry to hear about but she did got a little help in finding Malie Library, which they both agreed that it was for the best.

A Mudsdale then showed up surprising Lillie’s game counterpart as its trainer showed up next which was Hapu’s game counterpart who Michael remembers as she remembers him as well. Hapu’s game counterpart had appreciated hearing Michael’s progress on his island challenge, which she commented must be pleasing to the Tapus.

As Lillie’s game counterpart introduced herself to Hapu’s game counterpart, she asked her about what brings her to Malie Library which Lillie’s game counterpart carefully answered (while not revealing the secret about Nebby) that she wants to find an old book about Alola for various reasons, which Hapu’s game counterpart understood and informs Lillie’s game counterpart that she can aid in showing her around, which Lillie’s game counterpart for the offer as Hapu’s game counterpart departed with her Mudsdale then Lillie’s game counterpart and Michael went into Malie Library. While looking around the library, Lillie’s game counterpart explained to Michael about the book that she wants to look at is about Alola’s Legendary Pokemon, which may be from another world as Michael was very fascinated to hear about. As Lillie’s game counterpart and Michael were looking around for the book, an unknown girl not only heard them about the book they’re searching for, she showed them the actual book that they were searching for. After Lillie’s game counterpart had finished reading the story known as “The Light of Alola”, Michael was amazed to have heard much from the story like “the beast that calls the moon”, the island guardians’ part involvement in the story, and much more.

After Lillie’s game counterpart had a chat with the unknown girl, she explains how she can share more old stories with Lillie’s game counterpart kindly accepts as she chose to stay put at the library for a while and wishes Michael luck on his next trial, which she was already aware of. Before departing, Michael thanked the unknown girl for showing them the book then he thanked Lillie’s game counterpart for reading that important story and for also filling him in about the trial up on Mount Hokulani shall be an Electric-Type trial. While collecting another Totem Sticker, Michael has read many stories which led to finding an old photograph inside a book about defeating Ground-Type Pokemon. The old paragraph shows a girl, a Mudsdale, and a garden, which looked a little familiar to Michael (except the garden part) but he gave the old photograph to a librarian so it may be returned to its rightful owner. Michael then met up with Samson Oak’s game counterpart who had a chat with Michael about regional variants then he asked Michael that he’d like to see a local Alolan Persian on his team, which Michael kindly denies about adding any Persian onto his team. Afterwards Michael had a chat with a sightseer girl about how Sky Ride Pokemon like Charizard can help transport people across Alola which she thanked him for teaching her about and it led to Michael receiving a Technical Machine for Fly and another Totem Sticker was collected afterwards. Departing from Malie Library, Michael noticed a young girl having a chat with her mom about her Grandfather’s Pokemon, which led to the hidden Pokemon within the Left PokeBall (in Michael’s care from the Aether Foundation) revealing itself to be a Dartrix whom the young girl recognizes as her Grandfather’s Dartrix and it led to her asking Michael about why that Pokemon was with him as Michael managed to have found out about the trainer of the Pokemon within the Left PokeBall.

After everything was explained by Michael, the young girl understood how Dartrix was so close with her grandfather then she promised to Dartrix that they can stay together, which Dartrix happily accepted. Michael was happy for Dartrix as he returned it to its PokeBall and handed it to the young girl, which she happily thanked Michael for what he did and gave him a Mental Herb in exchange. The young girl’s mom felt sorry for what’s been happening with Dartrix due to its strong bond with her dad and Michael was a little uncertain about the young girl’s mom commenting about a strong bond being a burden sometimes. After Michael and his Eevee defeated a trainer’s 2 Trubbish, Michael then came across 2 people at a recycling plant. The 2 people were the recycling plant’s president and his son who both explained to Michael about the purposes of taking care of all kinds of garbage across Alola especially with Alolan Grimer and Alolan Muk to aid in the work. When the recycling plant’s president noticed Michael’s island challenge amulet, his son remembered how he used to do the island challenge before he had given up on it, which Michael felt sorry to hear about him. The recycle plant’s president then asked Michael to battle his Alolan Muk as it could burn off some garbage that it ate from its work with the recycling plant. After Michael accepts, the battle ends with Michael’s Toucannon defeating the recycling plant’s president’s Alolan Muk. Afterwards the recycling plant’s president informs his son that he’s next to face Michael, which he’s not sure about doing but after hearing what his father had said, that son of his understood and was determined to give Michael everything he’s got with his Alolan Grimer as Michael accepts to battle him, which ended with Michael’s Toucannon earning enough to level up after managing to defeat that trainer’s Alolan Grimer.

Afterwards the recycling plant’s president’s son felt sorry that he lost but his Father said to him that he’s officially hired as the new president of recycling plant and after hearing everything that was said to him from the recycling plant’s “former” president, his son understood his words and promises to do well as the new president of the recycling plant. Michael was informed that he was needed to help teach a lesson to a father’s son, which Michael understood and was given a Twisted Spoon for all his troubles. Finding another Totem Sticker which led to Michael having to have collected 50 of them, led to a call from Samson Oak’s game counterpart who informed Michael about another totem-sized Pokemon being available, which Michael understood but is still gonna focus on raising his Totem-sized Alolan Raticate. Michael meets someone named Gester who explains a lot to Michael about the battle styles from when trainers throw PokeBalls or whatnot in battle. Since Gester explained that he’s in need of a successor, Michael accepts since he might like to try out a new battle style as Gester happily thanked Michael then was able to teach him the elegant battle style, which Michael shall stick with to see what it’ll be like. Afterwards Michael apparently noticed Samson Oak’s game counterpart, which led to them having a small chat then Michael received a new kind of PokeBall from him, which was a Friend Ball. Michael then visited Malie Community Center, which first led to some playtime with a Spinda, receiving a Best Friends ribbon for his Torracat, and receiving a strange souvenir which is made in the image of an island guardian tapu. Passing a quiz in a weather class led to Michael receiving weather-lasting rocks then another Totem Sticker was collected. Michael noticed a grunt from Team Skull who believes Michael is interfering with her about to purchase something, which led to her about to face Michael in battle if he has a problem with it, which answered yes but only because he just doesn’t like Team Skull as Michael’s Eevee managed to defeat that grunt’s Mareanie. Apparently Michael has gotten used to receiving another strange souvenir by purchasing it from that Team Skull grunt since Michael can understand that it is modeled after a guardian deity of Alola. Afterwards Michael received 5 Max Repels after accepting someone’s request of doing a long walk across correct symbols on Malie City’s pathways. Michael then arrived at a place called the Kantonian Gym, which he was impressed to see as he was then informed about that unofficial gym being made after the gyms in the Kanto region, which is where Michael’s originally from so he accepts in challenging the Kantonian Gym.

After Michael defeated the 4 gym trainers using only his Eevee (who earned enough Exp. Points to level up in the process), he was all set in challenging the Kantonian Gym Leader who was impressed to hear that Michael is originally from Kanto. The Kantonian Gym Battle ended up being very short as it only took Michael’s Lycanroc using a single Counter move to defeat the Kantonian Gym Leader’s Machoke as Michael received the Surge Badge for winning the gym battle then received an item set of Soda Pops and some Poke Beans, which shall be good for his Pokemon Friends to enjoy. Afterwards Michael enjoyed a good Z-Kaiseki meal at a restaurant, his Eevee and Raticate enjoyed some malasadas purchased for them at the malasada shop, and another Totem Sticker was collected. Michael headed back to Malie City’s Pokemon Center where he did some selling at the PokeMart then purchased some Hyper Potions that he’ll need for when he departs to Route 10.

Afterwards Michael spoke with his Rotom Dex about much they’ve experienced in Malie City especially about the story that they’ve listened to with Lillie’s game counterpart, which had Michael pondering on what he had learned about “the beast that calls the moon”, which he thinks is known as Lunala, which was said to be like Alola’s very own moon. Michael also pondered about what will occur of Alola’s light if it were to be taken, especially if the Aether Foundation would get involved in trying to do something about it.

Michael showed the Lycanium Z to his Lycanroc, which has them both excited about unleashing Lycanroc’s exclusive Z-Move for when the move Stone Edge has been learned (according to Michael’s Rotom Dex).

Michael then spoke with his team about his big set of PokeBeans that he got from the Kantonian Gym as he now has a big amount of PokeBeans to feed to his team in their Pokemon Refresh activities for quite a while.
