UM34's Documentation ("Plot")
As the young trial-goer met back with Lillie’s game counterpart, they spoke with Mina’s game counterpart who was surprised to hear that Hapu’s game counterpart became the new Kahuna of Poni Island, she explained that Nanu’s game counterpart had been watching over their grand trials up until now, she’s happy that Poni Island now has their own kahuna.
Lillie’s game counterpart and Michael are both happy for Hapu’s game counterpart achieving an important goal to follow in her late grandfather’s footsteps as Lillie’s game counterpart knows that she must do her best for her mother’s sake and for Nebby’s as well, which Michael can understand since he must do his best in helping his friend and her Pokemon Friend.
Both Lillie’s game counterpart and Michael informed Mina’s game counterpart about needing to reach Exeggutor Island to obtain the other flute which they need, so Mina’s game counterpart suggests they should go see the chief, who suddenly appeared right to them much to how surprising it was Lillie’s game counterpart.
As the chief of the seafolk introduced himself, he offered to bring them to Exeggutor Island which both Lillie’s game counterpart and Michael had shown their appreciation but Mina’s game counterpart had explained that only Michael can go since Exeggutor Island is filled with many wild and crazy critters which the chief agrees with since Lillie’s game counterpart is not a trainer herself, she should trust her friend in handling their task. Lillie’s game counterpart is a little crestfallen about it but Michael spoke to her about knowing she can handle herself with her Max Repels, maybe it would be okay if he goes to obtain the flute that they need, which Lillie’s game counterpart understands and shall wait for her friend to get back as he sets off with the chief for Exeggutor Island. The young trial-goer had arrived to Exeggutor Island (in rainy weather) where he noticed 3 Alolan Exeggutors swinging their heads around like crazy so Michael decided to check on them one-by-one which led to him noticing each of them had a Pinsir stuck to them which led to the young trial-goer defeating them one-by-one with Aerodactyl, which led to it gaining enough Exp. Points to level up. One of the Alolan Exeggutor lifted Michael on top to where the flute was as thanks which Michael appreciated.
After a Totem Sticker was collected, Michael discovered the Moon Flute and picked it up from the pedestal as the young trial-goer then noticed the rainy weather had cleared up and saw a beautiful night sky with falling stars. Arriving back to Poni Island, Lillie’s game counterpart was happy to see her friend coming back with the Moon Flute as he promised. Mina’s game counterpart explained that they must play both flutes at the Altar of the Moone which can be found through the Vast Poni Canyon which both Lillie’s game counterpart and Michael understood as the chief complimented on the young trial-goer in having the Alolan Exeggutor take a liking to him after he had helped them out. After having a quick chat, Michael agrees on meeting back with Lillie’s game counterpart at the path to Vast Poni Canyon which she understood as she then departed for Ancient Poni Path. After having Aerodactyl recovered at Seafolk Village’s Pokemon Center, Michael decided to take a quick trip to Malie City for Kabuto’s training as he then arrived there via Charizard Glide. Arriving into Malie Garden, Michael learned of the Nugget Bridge where he can take on trainers to win a prize, which he decided to try out with Kabuto. The young trial-goer and his Kabuto emerged victorious against a Rising Star’s Caterpie and Weedle, a Lass’s Pidgey and Nidoran, a Youngster’s Kantonian Rattata, Ekans, and Zubat, another Lass’s Nidoran (while her Pidgey got defeated by Incineroar from being randomly called out via the Whirlwind move), and a Rising Star’s Mankey. Michael earned a Big Nugget as his prize from a Veteran who then asked the young trial-goer about joining Team Rocket, which he’s a little familiar with since they’re an evil organization from Kanto (where he’s originally from). Michael (out of frustration) kept answering no from no matter how that veteran kept asking him, which led to them facing each other in battle. Michael’s Kabuto took down the veteran’s Ekans and Zubat, which led to it gaining enough Exp. Points to level up. The veteran revealed that he was just playing around as Team Rocket fell apart years ago, which Michael started to understand, although the veteran mentioned what ever occurred with Team Rocket’s Boss Giovanni, which made Michael start to ponder about it a little. Michael managed to locate the trainer (a Rising Star kind) involved with a letter he found at Ula’ula Beach, who was surprised about the letter from Arabella, which led to him asking Michael to a battle just as the letter explained, which he accepted. Michael’s Kabuto emerged victorious against the Rising Star’s Delibird and Mudbray. The Rising Star trainer explained how Arabella took him in back when he was in Kanto as he never thought Arabella would send him a letter in a bottle to check on him since it could’ve been lost if Michael hadn’t found it so he gave the young trial-goer a Pearl String as thanks. Afterwards Michael headed back to Poni Island and continued with Kabuto’s training at a fishing spot, which led to it gaining enough Exp. Points to level up twice thus reaching its evolution into Kabutops and learning Slash as the young trial-goer was happy for Kabutops.
Under his Rotom Dex’s suggestion, Michael and his newly-evolved Kabutops took a few photos of themselves, then Michael continued doing so with a few of his other Pokemon Friends.
Michael’s Kabutops continued gaining enough Exp. Points to level up at that fishing spot then during a re-visit to Exeggutor Island until its training was put on pause for now. At Seafolk Village’s Pokemon Center, Michael sold a lot of collected valuables at the PokeMart (along with purchasing some Hyper Potions) then he spoke with his team to keep in mind of finishing up with their training so they may be ready for Vast Poni Canyon but the young trial-goer also keeps in mind of something that’s a little more important, which is helping Lillie’s game counterpart for when they’ve reached the Altar of the Moone where it can expected to meet the Legendary Pokemon, Lunala.

Answer: Pinsir
Lesson Notes: Michael Lettman started to feel ashamed for adding some error to Alolan Michael's quest with Lillie's game counterpart on Poni Island. Obtaining the Moon Flute should've been added to UM33 and everything else that occurred during the detour to Ula'ula Island could've waited until after UM37. As for Kabuto's evolution, there were already enough errors occurring during an important quest (also described within UM32) to comment on that.
“Off-Screen” Necessary Saving Activities: The young trial-goer took care of a few extra activities like increasing Festival Plaza’s ranking, took care of some training at Exeggutor Island with some of his Pokemon Friends, purchased some much-needed items (Revives and Hyper Potions) at the PokeMart, collecting some much-needed Poke Beans (at Poke Pelago) for Pokemon Refresh activities, and lastly, sent Eevee and Raticate to Poke Pelago while adding Toucannon and Lycanroc to his team for UM35 to UM38.
