Michael’s “Poke Problem”: Which Pokemon was chosen to defeat Ultra Necrozma? Choices: Lycanroc, Incineroar, Cha, Toucannon (Answer Revealed Below) (Exp. Share: On)

UM37's Documentation ("Plot")

As Michael looks up at the Megalo Tower, he turns to Dulse and Zossie who explains how Necrozma is very powerful for them to defeat in battle and how they can’t even control it with their technology. They also explain how Necrozma once filled their world with its light and how it spreads its light across Ultra Space which Michael finds amazing. They’re hoping for Michael to help calm it down to see if it can be able to share its light with everyone like it used to which the young trial-goer understand as he enters and arrives at the top of the Megalo Tower where he finds Necrozma who after going through a little suffering, changed into an entirely different form which left Michael very amazed. Michael's Rotom Dex guesses Necrozma is eager to do battle after studying the young trial-goer which Michael can believe since battling Necrozma is what he must do for the sake of many others as he faces it with his partner, Incineroar. After withstanding some powerful attacks and dealing one finishing blow with its exclusive Z-Move: Malicious Moonsault, Michael’s Incineroar emerged victorious against Necrozma who after collapsing, disappeared into an Ultra Wormhole but Lunala was saved and light began to pour in the Alola region. After Lunala disappeared into an Ultra Wormhole, Michael began to wonder what had happened until Dulse and Zossie arrived to explain that the young trial-goer managed to have calm Necrozma down just as they needed for him to do and that the Necrozma he saw can be referred as Ultra Necrozma, who shone with such blinding light as Michael had seen the true form of the Blinding One. According to Dulse, although Necrozma’s defeat was to be done, it lost its light once again and it had fled to Alola which left Michael concerned but he was happy about Lunala being saved then it went back to Alola itself. While Michael commented about needing to head back to Alola due to his concerns, he’s still saddened that he couldn’t bring the light back to Ultra Megalopolis but Dulse believes that someday in the distant future, their world can be bathed in such light once again. Dulse and Zossie were thankful to Michael (and the light of his Z-Crystals + one from using a Z-Move) for his help in fulfilling their request as the young trial-goer was glad to. Michael notices a Poipole with Dulse and Zossie which looks at the young trial-goer in curiosity and acts up. Seeing this, Dulse and Zossie have decided to gift the Ultra Beast to Michael as a sign of their gratitude while also grant a wish Poipole seems to hold, they asked Michael if he will take Poipole with him, which left the young trial-goer momentarily amazed for a little while until he replies that he’d be honored to.

The young trial-goer accepted Poipole’s Pokeball from Dulse then Michael’s Hawlucha: Cha, had to be sent to a box for Poipole to be added to his party.

Afterwards Dulse and Zossie allowed Michael to ride upon Solgaleo to reach back to Alola which he accepted as he bid farewell to Dulse and Zossie of Ultra Megalopolis. At the Altar of the Moone, everyone watched as Michael came out of a warp hole as he was happy to see Alola back in light once again. After the young trial-goer explained everything that occurred, Phyco and Soliera gave their thanks to him for what he had done for them as they believe to feel the auras focusing on his Z-Power Ring. From when Michael was facing Necrozma in Ultra Megalopolis, the Ultra Recon Squad explained what they’ve found out about the auras that fill Alola. Necrozma emitted its powerful light (or auras) across Ultra Space, which passed through Ultra Wormholes and rained down throughout Alola, which resulted in the Z-Power for the Z-Moves and the auras of the Totem Pokemon which is how the island challenge trial sites got their unique properties, all of which left the young trial-goer very fascinated since Z-Power and the Totem Pokemon’s auras are powers gifted by the Blinding One. From what Phyco and Soliera had said, Michael wouldn’t mind being able for Necrozma to regain its light without sending it into another rage. Phyco and Soliera then gave their gratitude to Michael by allowing him to continue riding Solgaleo and use the Ultra Warp Ride to explore different worlds where he’ll meet many kinds of Pokemon + the opened warp hole shall remain there for whenever Michael wishes to get on the Ultra Warp Ride, the young trial-goer gave his thanks to the Ultra Recon Squad. Phyco and Soliera have decided to resume traveling to continue their research on Alola (with all of its Z-Power) since there’s still much for them to learn. So the young trial-goer wished them a great journey along with being proud of what they experienced as the Ultra Recon Squad departed. As Lusamine’s game counterpart turns to her daughter on how she had been right all along about much that occurred, she pointed out that it was Michael who had done everything. As thanks, Lusamine’s game counterpart gave him 3 Beast Balls, which were special PokeBalls she developed with the Ultra Recon Squad to catch Ultra Beasts, Michael recognized the Beast Balls as the same kind of PokeBalls that the Ultra Recon Squad used to bring out their Pokemon. Lusamine’s game counterpart spoke about Lunala being recovered at Aether Paradise after having its light stolen from Necrozma as she must head back there to help with its recovery and informs her daughter that she will help out too which she happily accepts, Guzma’s game counterpart may have learned something from everything that occurred as he then departed. As Lillie’s game counterpart and Michael had a chat, she spoke about how she couldn’t do anything to really help but she was always on Michael’s (and his Pokemon’s) side. While Michael did thank her for her kind words, he was proud of his friend for coming this far with him, they’ve traveled through the Vast Poni Canyon, she helped Michael’s Pokemon recover after lots of battling, and they both summoned Lunala to the altar. While Lillie’s game counterpart appreciated Michael’s words, she was glad that she got the chance to talk with her mother about a lot of things while Michael was grateful that a parent finally understood her daughter’s feelings. Lillie’s game counterpart thanked the young trial-goer for saving Necrozma, Lunala, and the people of Alola and Ultra Megalopolis; she commented that Michael’s help gave everyone the chance to smile again. Although Michael was proud to have done whatever he could to help out, he still felt bad for Ultra Megalopolis and believed in their dearest wishes that light can shine down onto their world in the distant future. As Lillie’s game counterpart shall head back to Aether Paradise to help with Lunala’s recovery, she commented to Michael to continue doing his best on his island challenge which he understood since he shall continue to get stronger on his journey, he then replied to her to make sure their Nebby is fully recovered, which she understood as she departed with her mother. As Michael was about to depart, Mina’s game counterpart arrived out of curiosity after she saw the altar go all dark but she guesses that Michael took care of that, which the young trial-goer confirms but she’s not gonna let Michael take all the good parts since she is a captain. So she likes to see if Michael can pass her trial as the young trial-goer has found the next step in his island challenge. Mina’s game counterpart explains that if Michael is ready to try her trial, he must come by her house in Seafolk Village so she asks the young trial-goer if he could just travel back to Seafolk Village with her, which the young trial-goer replies not yet as he had thought of something he wants to try out before heading back. As Mina’s game counterpart had decided to wait for Michael, the young trial-goer had decided to experience the Ultra Warp Ride some more as a way to take care of some training. As he enter the opened warp hole and rode upon Solgaleo again, the young trial-goer entered other kinds of warp holes light years away from where he was, which led to him facing an Altaria, a Hippowdon, a Nuzleaf, a Floatzel, and a Stunfisk, for training. It was thanks to Incineroar’s hard work in defeating those opponents that the rest of Michael’s Pokemon Friends gained enough Exp. Points to level up once (except Incineroar who gained enough to level up twice) + Poipole learned Toxic.

As Michael had finished up with training, he went back to Mina’s game counterpart and was all set to head back with her but also informed her that there are some things he wants to take care of before he’s ready for her trial + his partner deserves some rest after all the battling it went through. As they both arrived back to Seafolk Village and Mina’s game counterpart shall wait for Michael at her house when he’s ready, Michael recovered Incineroar at Seafolk Village’s Pokemon Center then he visited Poke Pelago to check on some of his Pokemon who were doing okay (including Cha) as they were playing with a few wild Pokemon there. After collecting lots of PokeBeans and cared for Poipole via Pokemon Refresh, Michael had a chat with his Rotom Dex who was proud of how its companion gave it his all against Necrozma, which left the young trial-goer pondering on how it’s doing and hopefully it’ll be recovered from the next time he sees it. Michael also pondered about everyone else like the Ultra Recon Squad experiencing more of the Alola region, Lillie’s game counterpart is now doing okay with her mother along with aiding in Nebby’s recovery, what Guzma’s game counterpart is thinking about after returning back with Team Skull but he knows Plumeria’s game counterpart may be relieved by now, and what lies ahead for him and his new Ultra Beast friend. Michael looks up in the sky with a good feeling that everywhere looks bright from knowing that the light is pouring down in Alola as the young trial-goer looks forward to continuing doing his best with the island challenge.
